Yes, Pay now will consider as On9 and Pay later which mean they will process manually later.

e.g. buy electrical appliances (e.g. fridge, TV, etc.) from merchant A with amount RM2k, swipe with PBB card, then after 3 days, call PBB to convert that RM2k into 9month Flexipay.

advantages: good for single large sum transaction. no additional fees. simple call-in to CS, done in 1 minute. if you have multiple flexipay done, you can also BT your upcoming statement to another card, further extending the period (e.g. BT to MBB's 12mth 0%).

disadvantages: not by statement (for this, you do BT instead), need min RM2k for 9month 0% flexipay, tricky when your purchase is near bill date (T&C: 3 days after transaction, 5 days before bill date).
here's what's shown in the statement:

pbb has been extending the BT and Flexipay for many rounds 

if u noticed, this BT is program number XVI (16) 
i like PBB's Flexipay, especially Quantum's Flexipay 12mth. very very useful if u got large purchase. also, 12mth flexipay is almost like doing a BT

The best feature about this card is this:

"Exclusive Flexi-Payment Plan Offer
0% for 12 months with minimum purchase of RM1,200"

Other bank's flexi payment have interest normally around 9%, and if you want 0% flexi pay, normally will depend on the merchant whether they have or not.

With this public bank card though, you can swipe any purchase and convert it to 0% flexi pay as long as above rm1200.
