The incident allegedly took place in the Hudaydah’s Bayt al-Faqih district on March 16.
On January 25, Houthi forces downed another Apache helicopter belonging to the Saudi-led coalition in the Dhubab district of the province of Ta’izz. [sos]

Libyan warplane downed striking jihadists in Benghazi QUOTE Benghazi: A fighter jet of forces loyal to a Libyan military strongman was shot down today as it attacked jihadist positions in Benghazi, a military source said.
"A MiG-21 was shot down by a heat-seeking missile," said Mohammad Ghunem, spokesman for the forces of strongman Khalifa Haftar, who is battling to oust jihadists from Libya's second city. "The plane, targeted by terrorist groups, crashed in the district of Suq al-Hut but its pilot survived."
He said the jet was hit as it carried out a raid on the last bastion of "extremists" in the city's Mediterranean seafront district of Al-Saberi. The pilot, Adel Abdullah Bushisha, was able to eject and landed by parachute in the east of the city, he said. [sos]

Five Dead After Ukrainian Military Copter Crash QUOTE Ukraine's Defense Ministry said a military helicopter has crashed in the eastern Donbas region, killing 5 people aboard.
The ministry said the crash happened March 26 near Kramatorsk, the headquarters of the military operation against Russia-backed separatists in the eastern part of the country.

Military F-16 jet crashes after taking off from Joint Base Andrews, pilot ejected QUOTE A military fighter jet that left Joint Base Andrews Wednesday morning crashed about two miles south.
US Air Force officials told Fox News that an F-16 from DC National Guard went down south of National Harbor in Maryland near Andrews Air Force Base.
The pilot inside ejected safely and was taken to a local hospital for treatment. The pilot's condition is unknown.
"The pilot ejected safely in an unpopulated area. More information will be provided as it's available," a US Air Force official told Fox News.

Mexican army helicopter crashes in Huehuetoca municipality QUOTE An Air Force helicopter crashed in this municipality of the state of Mexico, presumably due to a mechanical failure.
It is an MD530, with registration number 10317, according to military reports, used for reconnaissance or patrolling.

Two Iraqi pilots killed when helicopter shot down over Mosul by Islamic State QUOTE Two Iraqi army pilots were killed on Thursday when their helicopter was shot down over the city of Mosul by Islamic State, according to a military statement.

Serbian military jet crashes in Slatina, 2 pilots killed QUOTE Serbia's defense ministry says an air force jet has crashed in western Serbia, killing its two crewmembers.
The ministry says the G-4 trainer aircraft crashed in western Serbia, near the village of Slatina, Friday morning, during a routine training flight. It says the two pilots died in the crash.
The G-4 Super Galeb (Seagull) was made in Yugoslavia in the 1980s in a factory in Mostar, Bosnia. The cause of the crash is being investigated.

Four killed in Military helicopter crash in Greece QUOTE April 19, 2017
An army helicopter has crashed in Greece leaving four military officers injured and another hurt.
The Greek military helicopter went down at Sarantaporo on Wednesday morning with the Hellenic National Defence General Staff (GEETHA) reporting that five officers were aboard the helicopter.
Three days national mourning have been declared in Greece by Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras.
The victims have been named as deputy commander Ioannis Tzanidakis, Colonial Thomas Adamou, Major Demosthenis Goula and Lieutenant Konstantinos Hatzis. The lone survivor has been named as being First Sergeant Vasiliki Plexida.
Her injuries are said to be serious but she is out of danger.
Cyprus has expressed it deepest regrets and condolences to the Greek government and the families of four Greek officers killed after the helicopter they were flying in crashed. [sos]

No survivors in eastern Turkey military helicopter crash carrying 12 on board QUOTE April 18, 2017
A helicopter carrying 12 people, including seven police officers, a judge, a sergeant and three crew members, has crashed in Turkey's eastern Tunceli province.
Tunceli Governor Osman Kaymak announced that there were no survivors of the crash, and that the bodies of the passengers and crew members were found by thre rescue crews.

Iraqi Air Force Lasta 95N trainer crashes, injuring crew of two QUOTE April 17, 2017
Two Iraqi Air Force (IqAF) pilots were hospitalised on 17 April when their Utva Lasta 95N piston-engined initial/basic training and light attack aircraft crashed shortly after take-off from Imam Ali airbase (former Tallil airbase), located 20 km southwest of Nasiriyah in southeastern Iraq.
The aircraft had reportedly just taken off on a training flight when it suffered engine problems, crash landed and was damaged beyond repair.
The crashed plane was one of 20 Lasta 95N aircraft that Iraq procured from Serbia between 2009 and 2011. [sos]

1 Dead, 2 Injured In Black Hawk Helicopter Crash QUOTE April 17, 2017
A military helicopter crash lands on a golf course in the middle of the day in Maryland, leaving one crew member dead and two others hospitalized Monday night.
It’s the second military aircraft to crash in Maryland in less than two weeks. The Black Hawk helicopter went down, just after 1:30 p.m. Monday afternoon in Leonardtown, Saint Mary’s County.
The last update from the army said one crew member was in serious condition, the second surviving crew member is in critical condition.

No casualties in Royal Jordanian Army cobra helicopter crash QUOTE Amman, Apr. 26 (Petra) -- A Cobra helicopter Wednesday crashed into the ground, due to technical failure during a training trip in the Al Ghabawi area, eastern Amman, according to an official source at the Jordan Armed Forces (JAF)- Arab Army.
