QUOTE(kkk8787 @ Mar 19 2017, 05:44 PM) cant forget who was it, got irritated by me for asking. I din mean it. To be honest Im now working in a small town in Sabah, u cant find any of it here.thats y I cant test both. If Im in KL, I can make the decision within 1 day haha I would say, just go to the nearest city KK and do the testing there. Pretty sure they have camera shops there too. Even though it is more expensive than KL, unless you plan to make a trip to KL, might as well just buy it and save the hassle.

Wanted to ask ,
If im looking for camera which is able to do video recording
1080p in 60fps . My budget between 1500 for used unit .
if my mind, had few choices .
1-Sony A6000 used with 16-50mm lens
2-Sony A5000 Kit 16-50mm f3.5-5.6 OSS
3-Canon PowerShot G7X Mark II Nice Camera
4-Canon EOS M Camera with kit EF-M 22mm STM lens
5-Canon PowerShot G9X Mark II Nice Camera
all of these is used and below 2k .
Or any DSLR to recommend instead of going mirrorless?

Do consider the possibility of adding external mic, of which the A6000 an A5000 doesn't support. Not sure about the rest.

If you're planning on going pro, would be more preferable to get a DSLR for video shooting.

Of Courses will go for professionally if my level can go beyond that, but Used Unit Dslr , any model that can be short listed ? Currently having YouTube video production courses , might be further my skills with videography if possible .

Currently having YouTube video production courses , might be further my skills with videography if possible . With your limited budget you cant get any DSLR that can record full hd @60fps. At most only @ 30fps. Used 600D - RM1XX - 9XX Used 60D - RM15XX http://kldslr.com/Used-ListThis post has been edited by sp6068: Mar 20 2017, 08:08 PM

QUOTE(kasey1314 @ Mar 20 2017, 08:31 PM) 80D. 60D is still at 30fps. Google yourself the specs. Mirrorless, you're stuck with just the camera and lens. Not many add-ons you can attach to the camera. i.e external mic. This post has been edited by sp6068: Mar 20 2017, 08:48 PM

mirrorless to me is not very durable. The sensor on all the time to capture image into EVF.
DSLR sensor only switch on when you take photo or live view.

actually is depends on the set itself to capture the video or the lens itself can make adjustment there? DSLR has mic input. For mirrorless, you'll have to go something like A6300 to have mic input, not sure about the A7 series.

To me the main difference is that mirrorless tends to need many batteries to be accompanied with the unit.

A7 body alone is more expensive than the 80D Kit. 2nd hand unit also RM3.2K already. Plus Sony's original accessory/lens not exactly cheap either. Some more with Ringgit depreciation now. And agree with the battery issue. Personally used A6000 to shoot a 17min video, half of the battery already gone. This post has been edited by sp6068: Mar 20 2017, 09:47 PM
