 i hope can get RM 45XX, see how the neg goes, i am still not comfortable with the swappable CDRW, isn't Combo (DVD + CDRW) a better choice? I mean, dun tell u you gonna carry one HD, Battery, CDRW around and swap it like 'magic' haha |

My mistake...by default it has a DVDROM. But free a CDRW swappable... |

 Yeah, you're right. But from Pevee reply, it seems that he doesn't need to know that much coz Pentium-M is really Centrino machine. Other than Pentium-M is Pentium 4, Pentium 4-M and Pentium-M Celeron. |

That day i went to LYP, and i saw a very cheap OEM Pentium-M based notebook. It's only selling for RM 3688 --> P-M 1.4 Ghz, 256MB, 40GB, 14.1" TFT, DVD ROM, IR-PORT. I asked the sales rep, he said it's from OEM manufacturer QUANTA, and there is a Benq model look's just the same as this... I don't know anything about this notebook, and do you think it's worth a buy?

You pay > RM 6000 for reliable notebook that can use for 5 years or you want to pay < RM4000 that can be use for 2 years? |

I am using Benq Joybook 5100, performance is nice. battery life around 5 hour. screen look excellent.....
