I want to buy new laptop. My budget is rm3500. Any recommendation?

there is a lot of brand that has 3500 range notebook

Dell
Compaq
Acer
Asus

and much more...

but for me..
Compaq is more than enough...
they really care about their high-end budget notebook quality

I would go for T8100, Bcoz T7250 only 2Mb Cache, and T8100 3Mb Cache. since u hv only 2 model to choose, u may need to check if the 'TrueLifeTM' or 3Mb/2Mb or FingerPrint Reader, which 1 is more important for u.

I think it is better to start with Acer, if you are student.
Since we are not so rich (because we still get our allowance from our parents), so don't try to be a la-di-da person.
Well, people said Acer is sucks but please don't make a 100% judgment for this brand.
Furthermore, Acer can be bought at any shops compare to other laptop / notebook shops (am I right?)
Acer is more comfortable, nice design and suitable for youth.
Thank you to my Daddy because he bought me the Acer Aspire 4310 though I'm using the unpopular stuff but I satisfied with it because I'm lucky own a laptop which I used it to make assignment and surf the internet. Thanks Dad

I've been hearing lotsss of negative comment about Acer, but still they are doing pretty well in the market... I've never use one before, so I can't really judge... Their prices are so attractive!!!

Anyway, any nice Compaq in the region of RM2500?? And I saw Lenovo IdeaPad the other day, how is that line? I know it's the lower end coming from Lenovo, but is it good still??

The specs are good and it's a tablet PC... My only concern is just the AMD processor... Is it ok? Cause last time AMD is famous for being overheated easily....

And I don't know if I remember correctly, but i think someone at lowyatt offered me tx2032 for RM3100... But again, I could be very very wrong, cause the retail price is RM3999 That shop didn't have any brochure and I forgot the name

My budget about RM 3000-4000, preferably less than 3500, specs processor preferably at least 2.0GHz, RAM 2GB, with graphic card 256MB, international warranty, normal uses and games sometimes...

What you all think about the price of Laptop in June? Will it be lower compared to price during PC Fair?
