Lenovo is good and nice...Good for who have money to buy it..

My choices would either be a Sony VAIO or Dell (But in both my laptops, VAIO won).

Dell is customisable while VAIO is not. Dell can also be cheaper than VAIO due to the customisation (And since VAIO is not customisable, you might be paying for extra stuff you don't need, so yeah). Both have pretty good customer service and are pretty versatile. Not to mention good looking too Oh, and you can choose to opt for the 0% instalment schemes for these two brands.

Lenovo is highly recommended as well, but the only places I see them are from LYP or Digital Mall

I'm also planning to buy a Dell one.Are there any other brands where we can customise? And btw,and bad reviews about Dell? Like things i have to be aware of. Thanks.

Hey guys.. i'm new here. Wanted to get a Sony Vaio CR23G.. Just wonder if it's suitable for gaming? Anyone knows of the cost of laptop graphic cards? I noticed that laptops with graphic cards cost at least 6k.

AFAIK,if you want to change the graphic card you need to get mobo also.my friend did this during he buy his dell laptop

normally laptop wont come with 2gb ram expecially those model in ur price range,
suggest u go for lower price model,
and use the extra budget to add another 1 gb of ram to it...

for warranty and term of service,
advice to go for dell,
for cheap one,
maybe u can think abt HP compaq or Acer..
Toshiba and Asus price tag will be higher...

in term of build quality,
I prefer Asus and HP compaq...

maybe u can look for dell one,
there are model that suit ur budget...
for compaq, i like the speaker integrated,
so far no negative comment for new series of compaq notebook,
and compaq laptop also look cool...

personally i dun really like acer,
service sucks,
and the build quality so so only...

ohya, if u but compaq laptop,
remember to call them burn a driver CD for u,
the laptop come without driver CD one.

1 more thing is different between core duo and amd turion x2
never use amd b4 , so not sure bout amd performance..still will over heat ?
