budget type laptop will be from dell...

but i personally prefer Asus laptops..
been serving me fine... especially the M2N generation laptops..
best i can get with that price.. and also.. it comes in Asus mainboards..
reliable and stable..

never once fail on me.. that i can guarantee.. not even a single crash..
and i go on gaming and heavy engineering applications...

then which model of ASUS laptop do you recommend?

i used and still using an ASUS laptop, old laptop, bout 5yrs. battery dead for a few years, cooling fan not working properly for a few years, the "switch" to open the laptop screen the the switch to turn on the laptop are broken recently. other than that, it still works ok...

so i don't think i'll b using ASUS again...

Hi Judge-the. Actually i also like to know more about this offer. The info can be obtained at this site http://www.celcom.com.my/cep/productservic...m/HPCelcom.html

The question i would like to ask is: can we use to download stuff from the internet. The reason y i ask is that under the 3G service, i think it is stated there may be charges for downloading. Which i find very vague. Will some1 enlighten me on this?

guys, what do you think about this NEC laptop. Good for budget between RM4500-RM5000. I personally think that this laptop is one of the best of the cheapest for it's spec in it. rclxms.gif

Mr.Mah can roughly offer how much cheaper for this NEC? tongue.gif drool.gif drool.gif
Besides, i've no contact with Mr.Mah. cry.gif cry.gif

but thinkpad doesnt have the same processor as the NEC which is "Intel(R) Core(tm) 2 Duo T7200 2GHz, 4MB cache, 667MHz,"

And i think the processor itself compare to thinkpad, this is the best price. Besides, the most expensive thinkpad laptop 'ThinkPad X60 17024EA' in notebookshop still cant match the spec of the NEC 'NEC Versa P8210 2003DR'

Take a look below.

NEC Versa P8210 2003DR - RM 4,999.00

Intel(R) Core(tm) 2 Duo T7200 2GHz, 4MB cache, 667MHz,
