chtan, what if price wasnt a problem... we can go up to 9k if its nessecerry... but basically, my uncle just wants a 2gig of ram in the laptop, so far, the only solution to this is by customizing it on Dell website or Compaq

Of course you can equip your laptop up to 2G, just ask them to install for you when you place the order that time, if money is not an issue. In fact i've equipped my Aspire1804WSMi and desktop with 1G ram each.

Acer has a 12months interest free installment plan and if you are a student you can have a special rebate of RM300. Their Aspire1691WLMi scored 9/10 in HWM, an gold award in April issue.

i prefer FUJITSU or iBOOK!!! ^^
i'm going to buy a iBOOK soon..... \(^o^)/

althrough it is more expensive if compare with others, but quality and design have to make into consideration.

my recommend my friend to buy the fujitsu S2020 (Mobile AMD), he is very satisfy and feel GAYA, MUTU...when using that notebook.... its true......

stylish, weight and durability is very important for notebook.

tried looking thru. this is the only thing i found.. Gaya? Mutu?.. just wondering if they's any other comments.....

So the durability, style, and weight as mentioned lo..

Let us know your:
1) budget
2) specifications you expect
3) where u are going to use it
4) what are u going to use it for

Then I can give you a good idea.
*
1. If got few model suit my need, choose the one which is the most worth.
2. irda, bluetooth(standard nowadays?). Expert has battery can last few hours, sometime like with 9 or 12 cells. dvd-rw or cd-rw. wifi, firewire. 15" or 14.1" LCD.
3. In university...... or any place I need to use it.
4. Study purpose. and use it when there is no desktop PC.

and should I go for DDR2 or stick with DDR?
