i arrive at 0830 by 1030 my car isn't serviced. i asked Ian how long do i have to wait, only then he ask someone to work on my car. someone who car after me had got her car serviced and done by 1000

i did made a booking the day before and Ian was the one who made if for me, Ruby came out and apologize to me saying her staff overlook but Ian should know about this as he was the one made the booking for me.

for my next service i think i'll go another SC

guys, how do u cover up any deep scratch? i had 1 deep scratch at rear fender. avoid car coming from opposite end up i scratch my car

i found paint pen at aeon last time. got exact color code for iriz. anyone used it before?

Is it an actual paint pen or those liquid polishing pen?

I kept ezy touchup pro kit from aeon years back, still haven't use it although now the current amount of scratches mine have wouldn't be able to cover by that single box alone.

Senaxis took 1 month to get a sparepart replacement for my power window. When it finally arrive, the sparepart also not working.

Then, another 2 months of constant follow up with them, which they are not much helping either.

Fedup, called COSE, only took a week to get the replacement done.

Most I heard SC will replace for free.

I lost once, they replaced free and made it more tight d. Now never lost again.
It is very common issue.

i ask to have my clutch pedal be adjusted lower, Ian give me crap excuse saying it will wear faster, till now all my cars have low clutch and no such issue.

I agree with you man, my rattling has been going on for ages and every time I take it to a workshop it returns. So far I've only sent it to Senaxis.

Had dashboard rattle. First time sent to cose.. rattle came back after a month. Second time sent there, they installed ip kit and no more rattle. Been 6 months dashboard rattle free.
But after that rectification, my aircon blower is stuck on legs and face setting. The same even if i change the setting on the wheel thingy. Lol
Too lazy to send it again. Need to wear socks sometiems

Hi guys, don't bash me please if my questions bellow has been addressed before. (if there is already an answer, please provide me with the link so that i could read it up)

So, to start things off, this is not my car. Thus, I do not get to drive it every single day. My wife went overseas for 3 weeks and this is my very first time I get to drive it on a daily basis. I decided to do so as my wife had been complaining about her car since the very first day she got it from the dealer (since May 2015).
1st issue, for a 1.6 liter engine; the car is surprisingly slow to pick up from 0km/h to let’s say 10 to 15km/h. Coming out from a junction is a huge struggle and I felt that this car is putting me on a life threatening situation. My sis had a spare 1.6L Saga BLM(2012) for her employee and this thing works perfectly like a gem. I do understand that my wife’s Iriz is running on a CVT gearbox, but is that what’s causing this car to struggle under low speed? I realized that if it’s cruising at 60km/h, it’s quite easy for me to push it to 120km/h. However anything beyond that is a struggle again! The max that I can push is 160km/h. I can easily do 160km/h with my mom’s un-mod 2013 1.3L auto MyVi! I know this is not supposed to be a fast car but I do test whichever car that I manage to come across to the best of their abilities.
2nd issue, fuel consumption. Unlike me, my wife is a very smooth driver. She do not accelerate as hard as me and she rarely drives up to 90km/h. Normally, she likes to cruise between 70-90km/h as that is the speed that she is comfortable with and she only drive to and fro from our home to her work place. We tried both RON 95 and 97, full tank at about 32-33 liter and the max distance that she can go for is about 350KM. When I’m driving for the past 3 weeks, it’s even worse.
3rd issue, the head unit. The head unit always reset it’s time to December 1st 2013. Audio quality is crappy as well, especially when the base is supposed to kick in, but it doesn’t.
Other issues that has already been addressed;
1. Driver side and right rear door power window
2. Horn issue
3. Steering buttons
4. Steering horn button
5. Dashboard issue(dashboard got replaced entirely)
6. Headlight not able to turn on with auto being set at the lever
7. Right side DRL

I am also owning Iriz 1.6, but not really fuel saving. Full tank can go around 350 - 380km with RON97. The pickup kind of slow respond believe due to TCU , i did send complaint to Proton. Last year i saw them publish news will update TCU for Iriz after they launch Persona, wonder if there any changes recently. Other than this , all still ok. Its a nice city cruising car.

What I heard the TCU update is for new IRIZ, old IRIZ does not get updated.

hi all, did anyone changed to iridium sparks plug for iriz before? can share with me the brand and model name suitable for iriz? I checked a few shops seems like we cant use normal campro plugs, and no available iridium plug for iriz at the moment beside HKS brand (which cost rm140x4=RM 560 for one set)

Do Iriz need Iridium plugs?
Whats the benefit?
Longer change interval?

Id stick to the normal plugs..
And change at specified interval..
Reading the plug can tell u a wealth of information about how the engine is running..
