i'd give the engine a clean bill of health.. just done 29k km though..
seems like either there is a bit too much timing.. or the AFR is a bit lean...
and i can smell a bit of engine oil on the plugs.. maybe the rocker cover is starting to leak..

which SC did u bring it to? i complained only twice about the dash and steering before getting IP kit installed and a new steering wheel ordered.. now the car is rattle and squeak free... just waiting for the steering to arrive..

Online advertisement will not have keywords such as "Design", "Copy", "Taiwan", "Thailand", "Copy Ori", "Clone". Lastly gotta ask the shop for ori ones. Normally when visiting tyre shops, they will show u fake ones as its cheaper and many designs. After showing u for the size, ask which ones are ori. They will narrow it down. Also can visit reputable tyre shops to check it out. Can try Tee3 at selayang. They have many choices and prices are ok if u nego. Advanti S850 15"(15" R3 design taken from them) only about RM8xx.

Exhaust headers, 4-2-1 gives better low end torque, better for town driving. 4-1 gives better higher rpm torque good for Sepang.

I am planning to stroke my engine to 1.6 around mid of this year. Will share the results then.

hmm the sc that i complain regarding my problem is at old klang road and seri kembangan near aeon SC. havent got to any prestige SC yet.

then i'm not sure about your case. but there're common cases for the engine knocking/pinging sound of our iriz, noticeable when you drive the car during low rpm/hill climbing/low speed.

mine do have the knocks too, tried before with 2 tanks of RON 97, during the first, the sound got lessen and eventually went off during second tank of RON97.

currently still pumping RON95 though, so the sound do happening during every drive.

can't really sure what's your case, but you may try this method to observe the noise.

went to PESC, penang island branch
i asked them to change when i sent in my car in the first place but they did not do it.
i suspect that either of the CVTF or Filter is out of stock or they just lazy cos got many cars need to service since cny is coming.

I getting tired of going at least twice to get things done in PESC..

If you suspect this happening, I would suggest you file a complaint to Proton. This is not acceptable coming from PESC themselves.

can share which workshop you go to replace the windscreen that also provided a windscreen?

I went to Dr. Windscreen in sri muda shah alam as my insurance agent suggested it.

I too did have this steering noise within 1st few months of owning. Did complain to sc but they said didn't find any issue.
Months later the noise mysteriously gone for good

As I know for front tyre iriz psi is 30 but if when i want to pump tyre and its show 18, it is less angin or something wrong

Note: I rarely pump tyre usually 1 month or 2 month

hi guys, feel like my car jerking issue in low speed is much more obvious now.

can jerk until my passenger also shocked.

during raining? my car tends to jerk a lot during colder days..eg in the morning or night with rain..

i am going to shoot an email to proton this weekend
the penang island branch is shitty. They are very incompetent, i complained petrol smell for 3 years in almost every service and never did once they able to solve this issue.
and in the lastest service, i listed down all of the thing need to be changed to them according to the 36th months interval except spark plug and air compressor oil.

After 7 hours of waiting, i finally got their call my car is ready.
I am very happy and anticipated to drive a 'fresh' car, only to be told after i reached the SC that Fuel filter is Out of stock, and CVTF is not changed as they are still 'fresh'. wtf! telling me stupid thing like interval said 60k and mine only 30k. So in the end, that 7 hours, they changed my engine oil, oil filter + air con oil.. that's it for a major service. Lazy like hell and choose easy thing to do instead of doing the real things
