my friend car had a minor accident last year, then only today he told me proton still not yet finish repair his car. when he call ask update on his car, there is many excuse give by them regarding his car. is there any official way to make complaint about this issue.

May i know which insurance company your friend use?

As Annas said. Most common factor is delay from insurance side. Friend of mine had accident last year in Mid November. Only recently the insurance released a letter saying how much their gonna cover his car.

Or maybe no one chasing insurance, thus the delay?

Im using 1.3 standard manual.. almost 1 in a half years now.. Like the handlind exterior and interior.. But performance.. Macam kurang sikit.. But still love iriz..
Was thinking to change tyre and rim from 14 inch to 15 inch.. Takut nanti lagi berat and slow cause is only 1.3..

So..berbaloi ke.. If i trade in my 1.3 manual ni.. to get 1.6 auto? Ingat nak ambik yang second hand 1.6 auto ja murah..(sebab manual susaj saangat nak jumpa for 1.6 iriz dah selarang)

I'm 1.3m std too, using 16" summore. Performance drop maybe is there but didn't bother me much

M to A? Since you more concerned about performance, unless you got tired of shifting in jams I wouldn't suggest it. Punch is lousier than Getrag. Seems some case it is harder to reach top end even with 1.6. Of course 1.6m is a rare gem if you lucky to get.

Better keep the current one and go for performance parts upgrade. I think it is possible to discreetly upgrade the engine 1.3 to 1.6 by modding the stroke distance.

Ahh i see.. But Mt very hard to find..

How much drop? Interms of fuel consumption how is it?
I still prefer manual but since 1.6 manual is very hard to find..so thought of going with the 1.6 auto.. Looks like is not a good call after all..
So upgrade engine la then.. But how much will it be pulak to upgrade? I tak pandai sangat bab bab engine ni..

Very true. Only touch engine if iriz is NOT your sole daily commuter. Better keep it stock for peace of mind.

true..only if you want to make your Iriz as a project car, then go for it. if you are using it as your main car, forget it

Theres one guy here last time trying to sell his 1.6 MT. I'm not sure sold edi or he don't want to sell. If ur thinking of upgrades can always change stroker or do force induction. Got 1 place offering 6k for turbo kit with installation and engine and gearbox warranty. They have done it to the Saga vvt already.

Hi Everyone,

Does anyone knows where is the signal/flasher relay, located? I am using LED for Turn Signal Light & it's hyperflashing (similar like rapid flashing when a signal bulb is blown). The dashboard indicator also shows "check LH signal" & "check RH signal".
