Same goes to me.Using 1.3 CVT Exec for a year and then recently my bag indicator shown up. Thinking of next service will let the guys know.

I've only driven mine for less than 4 months. At first I thought it's warning me that the air bags are about to be deployed. blink.gif 5000 km/3 months more to go before the next service so I'll just have to overlook it in the meantime. rolleyes.gif

i change air filter at 20k, which is supposed to be done at 30k

then during 30k, no need to change air filter. so less to pay

maybe can do like that, spreading the cost..better than lumpsum sweat.gif

but you need to speak with the Service Advisor..

I hope it will no more confusing anybody here.

Major at 60k if you follow the interval accordingly.

If you do 5k or 7k, you should check how many time you're changing EO at sc.

let me clarify, i was supposed to change cvt oil filter and cvt oil @ 40k but low on budget so i just did a normal service for them to update the system, but i cannot afford to skip the cvt oil change, cvt oil filter change episode anymore, thats why im going for 50K service to change all those stuff.
i was doing normal servicing even on 30k and 40k service before (budget issue)

hope it clarifies stuff.. sorry if i didnt explain earlier, sleepy la today, heheh

it is never the case to do CVT oil and CVT filter at 40k....SC recommend...but Proton clearly stated is 60k not 40k.

I confronted Senaxis before....booklet says 60k...why you ask me to change on 40k?

Ean/Ian told me....recommended to change if heavy usage....but quite nonsense to me tongue.gif whistling.gif

if you wanna increase your cars lifespan, you can change the oil before the time comes.
I personally prefer to treat my car with care, so it never disappoints me. Some people prefer to spend less money for services, depends on your point of view.

it's better to change every 5k or as often as you like, but there is no wrong in following the manufacturer's recommendation

If the seller doesn't know which model fits your car...he might as well close shop
