You can smugler in without them notice or even they will just close one eye..but do you think yopu can escape the International liquid ruling?  biggrin.gif

You can buy cheaper water via the 1901 burger outlet there for ~ RM2.50 rather than RM3 buying from Air Asia..  biggrin.gif

Agree.. some more the AA mineral water is in very small bottle not those standard 500ml.. i think jz 300ml only, very expensive oh..

Actually M'sian airport is one of the most relax/flexible interm of the liquid ruling compare to other sin the world esp UK & US. All thanks to some terrorist bringing in liquid bomb into flight years backj in UK. Anyway, for Domestic flights, M'sian airport allow liquid. no problem.

So it's not AA problem but International ruling. smile.gif

I managed to sneak in my water bottle in LCCT only once, the rest of the times, I got caught and need to get rid of the bottles. Some times when they have too many to handle, we can just walk off without getting rid of the bottles. But I don't fly that much via LCCT, maybe like 20 times so far?
Sometimes I feel that it's for commercial purpose rather than safety purpose, because Air Asia is selling plain bottled water at a premium price.

In KLIA, they are more relaxed. I managed to bring in my bottles almost everytime now, at least for this year...

Taipei Taoyuan Airport is the best! All liquid allow to bring on board. Been there for 5 times now, never asked me to remove my water bottle before.
Will be going there again in middle of April.

unsure.gif When my time to fly back to Malaysia, I bought Lipton Milk Green Tea (super sedap. actually already drink half bottle, plan to finish up in the airport, but was too caught up with time during check in so forgot about it) and when after Immigration Check on my bag, they ask me to either throw the remaining tea or drink it up. Tat time a bit rush for time, so i reluctantly drink a bit then throw the rest away. but i still keep the bottle with me. feel so sad lo. cry.gif

Lipton, why u no bring Milk Green Tea to Malaysia? shakehead.gif

Speaking of lipton.. when I was in Europe, I am the big fan of their gassy tea in a bottle. Yum yum. It's like carbonated tea.

Not so sure on the late nite money changer..should be 24 hrs kua?

And on the rate, I dun think anyone can tell you whether is the best time as rate can fluctuate hourly just like stock market..

Some of Taiwan cities doesn't looks attractive from my point of view. Even the Huelian town ..probably just the size of Taiping also don't really looks great, The only attraction there is Chin Sui Cliff & Taroko. Otherwise, the town is just a town ..nothing much there..I passby few towns such as yilan during the trip to Taroko...Not really interesting...Similarly the city/town of Keelung also nothing much there except their Wai sek kai...Just a transit town to goto Yehliu & Jiufen

Unless you have many days in Taiwan, concentrate only on Taipei, Taroko, some say Alishan & if wanna goto 2nd largest city of Kaoshiung alos can...

Others smaller towns...passthrough can dy..

No idea on Alishan as I only linit my 5D4N stays to Taipei, Keelung & Hualien only

Sun Moon lake from the photos & numerous reviews, nothing interest me..just like one big lake garden like what we hv in Titiwangsa or Taiping lake..

Anyway, lotsa cities & towns in Taiwan, look typical china hulu-hulu style wan..Although the country is modern but the towns & cities are suprising abit shaby & simple. Even in big city like Taipei, They still having those 1970 era petrol stations which is a shock to me biggrin.gif
