i read that Q4 is the best time to go - weather is chilly.

I went last year december, winter time.. but not too cold... the weather super nice.. although u walk a lot but also wont' sweat.. don't need thick jacket also.... can check out some of my posts..

May I know which month you bought the ticket for?
Just checked the fare for Dec 09, it's RM6XX. Guess fare is more expensive because of high season.
Still considering.
I wouldn be surprised if the fare goes up further tomorrow.

Those RM100+ tickets are more for advertisement, doubt you can get them la. Probably, for the first few who booked.

The last I checked, the 2-way ticket for Dec 09 costs abt RM900 all in.

somemore, Q4 (Dec) is understood peak month mah. irregardless of which country you go, december sure more expensive.

only nice thg abt taiwan is the street in Ji Long ( on top of hill there got a renowned street selling street food and souvenirs. the grilled smelly toufu was so far the best i've had.

one thg to avoid in taiwan is the ho ah chien a.k.a fried egg+oyster+jelly(heard its yam paste). phobia eversince.

Which month is the best month to visit taiwan? By the way , What is the season in taiwan during january and february .
