Flyover doesn’t resolve the future traffic and population

No project is perfect, anyway direct access to highway without playing toll is good enough for me

Furthermore, we may have a 15 acres public park.

Where exactly is the flyover will connect to Silk?

Option 1 seems better IMO. What do you think?

Me think they widen the road from Silk to Sg Long at J3 (before Petronas Station) there and make it 2-ways is good enough d. Cost effective, faster completion and no need flyover.

My original tot is make J3 the entry point to SILK Highway so that the traffic light beneath the bridge no required anymore, those goes to GS Highway can have a smooth drive all the way to Taman Rakan.

The exit point from SILK Highway should be build opposite Honda show house.

Anyway, it still need 4 to 5 years in most optimistic scenario before the flyover is ready to use, we should continue press the government to open U-turn before Twin Palms immediately.

How about the whole sg long. They should make it 10% of whole sg long area or even including BMC.

I dont oppose the conversion, just that it needs more green lung and proper planning on the traffic should be done.

We really need alot of flyovers especially this whole area will be super congested.

But for those who bought their property here because of the golf course, they will be very upset....

I not sure what is the requirement of green area 20 years ago when Sg Long is established then, however if based on parcel way ie taman by taman, all taman in Sg Long has green area more than 10%. Why BMC in the picture? BMC land was owned by Lion not SHL wo.

If based on what happened in Goodview Heights (aka Sg Long South) which has 180 acres land, there is a central public park, likewise SHL may copy the same concept -central park + shop houses + apartments + landed houses in this 150 acres project.

Ya SL3 and SL8 residents has valid reason to get upset, let see how they deal with SHL.

For me, flyover connect to SILK Highway and central public park is the way to go, I never consider golf course which is only enjoyed by small group of people a green lung. To maintain a golf course it need a lot of pesticide, fertilizer, fungicides and water. The local water supply may not be adequate for the required irrigation needs.

Shl going to build flyover connect to SILK Highway opposite Honda showroom because that land (Lot 3489) belong to them, save land acquisition cost

Build the flyovers before all the development?

If the 2 traffic lights before petronas and before tmn rakan will remain at the same location, more car will go into sg long main road toward silk hw balakong.....perhaps jam issue will not be resolved?

yes, adding more congestion only. should build dedicated ramps for taman rakan and silk to do away with traffic lights

Ya, should not allow those from Silk Highway to turn right into Sg Long under the bridge, only those toward Tmn Rakan direction.
Instead should build exit point opposite Honda show room for those aim to Sg Long. As such no traffic light beneath the bridge required.

No flyover required in Sg Long-BMC t junction, instead build in at Tmn Rakan T-junction connect to Silk Highway.
