Distortion issue? This really impact Sony so hard. I'm planning to get another one to fully use it's super slo-mo. But knowing this, I'll hold it until it's fix.

The design is so outdated. Maybe it's subjective, buy making if full ratio screen is easy for Sony, especially they dun have to concern about the front finger print.

Is yours faulty? I can't recreate the alien head distortion. But I suspect these people place the subject at the corners. It's actually perspective distortion and it happens to all wide angle lenses!

XZP uses 25mm lens if I'm not wrong, such distortion is common. Been a photographer for so long, and Sony has been churning out very well respected G and also Zeiss lenses, I do think the camera is very good indeed. Wanna straighten anything? Just use Lightroom!

I think you all should make full use of the high resolution sensor instead of complaining when pixel peeping. I moved from HTC m8 to xzp and what a leap in resolution. If you know how to compose your shots, no distortion. But the colors and details are awesome! My friends were impressed too.

So, learn how to use a wide angle lens or perhaps there is a QC issue on Sony lenses which is known to happen.

FYI I use Sony full frame camera and Carl Zeiss lenses when I am not feeling lazy.

what u said for it is reasonable. with such lens, distortion is common.. just no ppl raise the issue in previous.. if not mistaken, sony did issue a statement about distortion issue.. they've treat this as normal scenario as well.

software update definitely can further enhance or reduce the distortion impact.. but not sure.. lets see
