Chrome owner here. Pre ordered from Curve store. First time Sony phone. Been a long time htc fan but htc getting too eccentric already.
Love this phone. It's 4 antennas doing good with Internet speed. Batt not bad, speakers a bit soft. Screen not such a big jump mebbe I don't turn brightness up enough. But man, this phone is fast. Feels like an expensive phone. |

XZP came with one year screen warranty anyway. Those who bought after pre order has this SWC+? I noticed on Sony website that now only comes with soft case and Sp.

So if you like $8 so much, what are you doing here? Do we need to justify our purchase to you? You think you can convince us to change to a Sammy?
Anyway does anyone here aware that the SURFACE AREA of the xzp is the same or slightly bigger than the S8? Not many are aware because of the aspect ratio. Anyway I only buy either HTC or Sony. Nokia can be considered as well if their latest phones are decent. Sony also not considered by me until the xzp came out. Haha. PS. S8 users don't be butthurt, your phone also not bad. Really! |

Buying a phone based on looks alone. Sad that both small fry htc and Sony can get their phones to run faster than the giant. Problem is, with such a thick overlay, things will only run even slower a few months down the road. |

Lying down on the bed, my phone fell out of my pocket and smashed... the screen protector! The Sony case is hopeless as it doesn't have a raised lip.

Use manual mode and increase the EV by 0.3-0.7. It's just underexposed.

According to the experts, try to maintain the charge between 40-80%. Fully discharge and recharge once a month for optimum battery life for li-ion battery. Stop charging if the battery feels hot. Li-ion battery doesn't like <20% and >80%. Go check it out online.

Samsung photos are tuned for their amoled screen. Looks washed out on calibrated monitors. The white balance is also off. Xzp tends to underexpose but the details are there. Try editing your photos and turn up the brightness 🔆

All lenses have distortion. Xzp camera is one of the best already, just sad that many reviewers are paid by the big boys to give bad reviews to other brands. There are only one or two YouTube reviews that are not biased. I'm glad I took the chance on Sony. Very happy with it.

It's like a religion or something, my Sammy fanboy friends also trying to hard sell Sammy to me despite the fact that I already bought the xzp. It's a cult!
If the design is so bad, why the fish 🐠 do I like this phone so much? Sony has really done good finally. |
