Actually I noticed even with the SD card slotted in (another xiaofang of mine which is working), the video could not playback like at all @ shows no recording, only the detect motion can be played .. this has been happening many months ago ..

It works for me. But once put back sd card n restart, then cannot work again. Wondering what is the exact problem.

Check if the SD Card is corrupted or not.

If it is corrupted just format from Xiaomi camera?

If it is possible but I bet you can't coz your Xiaofang would be off line when sd card is inserted.

is there a way to turn off the IR leds permanently?
my xiaofang is all the time in sleep mode until I need to use it. But even in sleep mode, the IR lamps will come on. I already tried putting the IR in Auto and Off and it works for awhile. Few days later, I can see the IR lamps come on again (yes in sleep mode)

2 units of mine works fine to off the IR permanently, the one with moon symbol on the top right corner...make sure the symbol is only moon without Auto or On wording

what is the best micro sd to pair with xiaofang ?
previously using sandisk,the white one
but only few weeks used,rosak already,cant format

symptom : xiaofang timeout,cannot view live when sd card inserted

white ones? High Endurance? they are the best already for IP and Dash cams.
Im using Samsung Evo Plus.
Maybe you bought fake cards or there is something wrong with your cam

bought 2 xiaofang with 2 micro sd
1 still remain working

will xiaofang send detection video even without sd card inserted ?

yes, actually you dont need a card

bought xiaofang 1s from shopee
trying to set up for the first time but the yellow light is not blinking & no voice prompt when i push the reset button

Any idea why Xiaofang not working if I connect it to a separate SSID and blocked its access to my intranet? Once I unchecked "disable intranet" in my router, it works flawlessly. The rest of my Dafang didn't have this problem. Only both newly added Xiaofang behaved differently.

Anyone know how much data the xiaofang use when idle? Planning it setup one to monitor a remote location. Will be using mobile data for it to connect to internet. (limited data)

Should be less than 1GB/month on idle mode. Of course more data usage when the xiaofang uploads the motion videos to cloud, if you turn on this feature.

anyone facing issues with xiaofang having "connect timeout, confirm network patency and retry 19201" issue?

From LAN, no problem.
4G, took a while to connect but OK after that.
Using Mi Home & Mainland China.

I'm using xiaomi home app, connect to china server, using wifi, but both android and iphone app also facing frequent disconnect issue.

Could it be because I'm not using default unifi DNS? I tried both cloudflare and openDNS also can't escape disconnect issue.

Wonder if anyone tried connecting to singapore issue?
