You should be telling him that then, not me. You can tell them you want extra 2/3 front fans for intake?

No. I'm not any of the employees/owners(I wish). Quoting their prices don't make me an employee/owner. I just simply like their Lelong page layout which I can browse the parts easily. Why did they say that? I don't know. Maybe he's new?

BTW, AMD Ryzen 2600 doesn't come with a fan right?
So those that package and promotion that use AMD Ryzen 2600, even though they don't mention it, usually they will put a dedicated fan for the CPU? Because otherwise the CPU can just "explode"/melt. Or you have to "specially" request?
*
It's bundled with the Wraith Spire cooler (non-RGB). It does the job decently.

If want to upgrade the stock cooler, around what price range I should go for? hmm.gif

Less than RM200. You can pick Cooler Master Hyper 212 LED Turbo.

Personally I will go with Cooler Master Hyper 212 RGB Black Edition.

hi sifus. so this is pretty much how my final build looks like. Is this good enough or is there anything should change? aiming for 1080 high/ultra 60fps on latest games.

CPU : Intel i5 9400f
MOBO : Asrock B450 Pro4 Matx
RAM : Kingston HyperX Fury 8GB DDR4 2666MHz x 2
GPU : Geforce GTX 1070 Windforce OC 8GB
SSD : Seagate 250GB
HDD : WD Blue 1TB
PSU : EVGA 500W 500BV 80+ Bronze
CASE : Tecware M3 TG M-ATX

The motherboard of your choice use AMD AM4 socket.

You need to swap it out for Asrock B365M Pro4 to support your Intel i5 9400F processor.

Optional:
Swap out your SDD for XPG 256GB SX8200 Pro. 5 years warranty.

I need Asrock B450/M users/sifus to recommend me which RAM to get.

[B][Budget] - 16GB RAM (want to run 8x2 dual channel) preferably RM300-400. DDR4 3200 for the possibility of Ryzen 5 3600 RAM compatibility

[Purpose] 1080p gaming, replacing possibly-unstable motherboard/processor

[Hardwares that will be re-use] with exception of current RAM (DDR3), motherboard (2014 GA-H97 Gaming 3 - most suspected experiencing instability) and proc (Core i3 4150 - possible suspected instability), everything else (GPU - Zotac GTX 1060 6GB) reused

[Monitor resolution] 1920x1080

[Games & softwares that are CPU/GPU/RAM-impacted] Kerbal Space Program (newest version have reached 8GB-RAM limit resulting in total PC slowdown), heavily-modded Skyrim LE (with intention of also running SSE), probably will buy TW: 3 Kingdoms

[Personal preferences]

Mobo likely to be bought - Asrock B450M Steel Legend
Processor - Ryzen 3 2200G first, likely to be upgraded to Ryzen 5 3600

[Location] KL

HyperX Predator RGB 16GB (2X8GB) DDR4 3200MHz

T-Force Delta RGB 16GB (2X8GB) DDR4 3200MHz

Both selling for less than RM450.

Hi guys. My friend is considering to get a rig for his Dota 2 and browsing use.

Someone is selling a 2nd half rig as such:

CPU : Intel i7-4770
MOBO : MSI B85-G43
RAM : Kingston 8GB DDR4 1600MHz
GPU : GTX 760 2GB
HDD : WD Blue 2TB
PSU : XTK CB 0600M
CASE : RC-311B
DISPLAY: 27" HP LED

PRICE: RM2,000

Wonder if it's even viable choice within 3 years of use or can just workout a new rig which is as good and stays relevant for longer.

Need some advises from you guys.

Thanks!
*
It's a decent built for 1080p gaming but surely not worth RM2000 right now.

You can build a better system with the same amount of money.

Morning guys, I want to build a budget computer within RM1.6~1.8k budget.

All these while i been using intel system but now want to try AMD. The problem is i not really familiar with AMD proc. Below is what i am thinking. Hope you guys can give some advice.

Btw, i think make use of the Vega in Ryzen as graphic processor as this pc mainly for accounting and sometimes LOL only.
CPU: Ryzen 2200g (RM390)
MOBO: Gigabyte B450 S2H (RM269)
RAM: Corsair (1X8GB) DDR4 2666MHz (RM175)
GPU: -
SSD: Apacer AST280 240GB M.2 (RM145)
HDD: -
PSU: Use back old Acbel 450W
CASE: Use back old one
WiFi: TP-LINK AC1300 PCI-E (RM115)
Monitor: any 24" (RM400)
Keyboard/mouse : Use back old one

Total Cost = RM1,494

Ryzen 2200g can support up to 2993MHz RAM speed. I am thinking is it worth to get a 3200Mhz performance RAM in hoping to boost the graphic performance, or just overclock the 2666MHz...
*
AMD Ryzen 5 2200G RM352.00
Asrock B450M Pro4 M-ATX RM285.00
Kingston HyperX Fury 4GB DDR4 2666MHz (x2) RM208.00
XPG 256GB SX8200 Pro M.2 RM200.00
Super Flower Silver Eco 500W RM238.00
LG 24" 24MK600M RM484.00

This should be less than RM1800 based on Shopee prices.

Please don't cheap out on your power supply. Replace it. Minimum EVGA 500 BV 80+ Bronze. Now selling at RM199.

Hi sifus
what processor should i buy to match with RTX 2060?
my current processor Intel I5-4570 always keep getting 100% cpu usage when playing open world games and it affect my framerate even i play on low graphic settings.
so i guess this is what people call bottleneck, right?
about budget i can go around RM2k including motherboard and ram.
thanks

MSI B450 Tomahawk RM479.00
G.SKILL TridentZ RGB 16GB DDR4 3200MHz (x2) RM480.00

This should be around RM2000 based on Shopee prices.

Optional:

Cooler Master Hyper 212 RGB Black Edition RM189.00
Kingston HyperX Fury 8GB DDR4 2666MHz (x2) RM353.00

do i need 3200mhz?
does it will boost my gaming experience?
*
Yes faster RAM will boost your overall gaming experience with Ryzen. I believe 3200MHz is the sweet spot due to it price and performance.

Else you can overclock the Kingston HyperX Fury 8GB DDR4 2666MHz to 3200MHz. A reliable cheaper solution.

Thanks for the recommendation. I found Apacer Panther DDR4-2666 4GB @ RM83 each. Does it performs similar to HyperX Fury?

Not a bad replacement. The Panther have a decent overclocking potential. HyperX Fury have lifetime warranty.

thank you very much, i think will stick to your recommendation.
I plan to overclock the RAM anyway as heard higher speed RAM will "boost" Ryzen peformance

Yes, faster RAM will boost overall Ryzen performance.

I overclocked mine from 2400MHz to 3200MHz. A cheaper solution due to RAM prices last year.
