Currently still using a B550 motherboard some budget MSI mobo, with a Ryzen 5600G processor, because I didn't had budget for a graphic card at that time (5600G proc comes with integrated graphic card).

Now using a RTX4070 Super 12GB Vram, paired with 16GB RAM.

1440p monitor 144Hz.

Getting around 80-100FPS on mostly high settings with RTX turned up to Ultra, with DLSS Quality.

Not sure if this is considered good, or should i consider upgrading the processor to something like 5700X3D?
*
Minimal investment? Yup, 5700X3D.

What is the sweetspot for RAM DDR5? 32GB 6000MHz CL30? The price seems abit higher than CL32 CL40.

Existing setup:
AMD Ryzen 5 7500F - RM559 Shopee
MSI B650M Gaming Plus WIFI - RM576 Shopee
Thermalright Peerless Assassin 120 - RM145 Shopee
Kingston KC3000 1TB - RM310 Shopee
FSP Dagger Pro 650W (80 Plus Gold) - RM350 Facebook
Lian Li A3-mATX - RM272 Shopee

Refer to processor official spec. 7500F is 5200. Anything above is considered as overclocking and have unstable risk. You could still run 6000 stick at 5200, but you wasted extra money.
*
If I'm not mistaken, it has been proven to run at 6000MHz with no issues.

Yes, around 6000-6400Mhz as the max you can tune is  6200Mhz w/o downstep IF 2:1. Its pricier due to tighter binning from factory and you can see clear results

user posted image

At 6000MHZ there is not much headroom on RAM speedup for AM5 hence why to get better perf only way is down timing CL rating.

Of course nearly all 6000Mhz kits are the same in using Hynix A die (or sometimes M die) so you could save a bit going CL40 kit and downtiming to CL30 but theres higher chance it will fail.
*
Noted. I'll continue looking for CL30 or CL32 kits within my budget.

Anything 6000mhz cl30 it's good.. 6000mhz cl32 above u mind as well use ddr4...or go 5600mhz jedec.. u use r5 or i5 n ddr5.. u r baited
*
Baited? Could you explain further?

R5 7500F gives me access to the AM5 platform, allowing me to upgrade to a better CPU in the future.

i5 with ddr5 or ryzen 5 with ddr5.. generally slower.. coz the ram operate at gear 2 or gear 3 ratio

Please keep in mind that not everyone wants to spend a small fortune on their weekend gaming setup.
What's next? You going to poke a fun at me because I didn’t buy RTX 5090?

There will be outliers, like XMP, wont automatically work without issue for everyone but afaik I havent heard of EXPO/XMP failing at thereabouts 6000+.
Now its actually base XMP as not far off from highest JEDEC 5200 and while max XMP with cudimms looking at 12000MHZ! What is 6000MHZ boost.

Your CPU IMC has to be real shitass if cant do a mild bump to 6000 and even if you fail there are plenty guides how to make it work (ref: buildzoid)

Noted man. Thanks for your input, much appreciated!

Just managed to grab a used RX 6800 XT (XFX Speedster SWFT 16GB) for RM900 to complete my weekend gaming setup.

Now can proceed to assemble the build. Wish me luck!

MSI B650M GAMING WIFI - 571 (Shopee)
Kingston Fury Beast 8GB DDR5-4800 X2 - 248 (Shopee)
Asrock B580 12GB Challenger - 1379 (Shopee)
Kingston KC3000 1TB - 349 (Viewnet)
MSI A650BN - 203 (Shopee)
Tecware Neo M2 - 135 (Shopee)

RM3464 total

Looks good? hmm.gif

Get the Plus version for the motherboard.
For RAM, 16GB X2 is recommended for a new system.

Your PSU might need a bit more juice to handle the upgrade.
