Also the build any comment? Go for regular GTX 1070 Ti like Galax EXOC. Should be around the same price. Regular cards has better cooling than mini. Change the hard disk to Seagate 2TB. I despise 5400rpm hard disks. |

QUOTE(mbr @ Dec 2 2018, 09:56 PM) Rather than save on parts and limit your psu budget, save a bit more to be able to allocate around rm 350-400 for a good psu that should last 3-5 years and give you peace of mind. I'm planning to buy all parts from c-zone. Which power supply is your recommendation if my budget is around 350?Higher clocked ram is only about rm 30-50 more for 8gb, unless you want top rated rgb lit ones. |

Lelong sells Corsair TX650M at RM355, C-Zone selling at RM449. Maybe you can show them the screenshot.https://www.lelong.com.my/catalog/all/list?...=Corsair+TX650M |

[Budget] - RM4,000 - RM4,500
[Purpose] - Gaming [Hardwares that will be re-use] - New Rig [Monitor resolution] - 1080P [Games & softwares that use frequently] - PUBG, Dota 2, AAA Title @1080P with Med to High Settings [Personal preferences] - Intel, ATX Build, HDMI [Location] Kota Kinabalu, Sabah (planning to go kl/lowyat soon) Hi, i would like to build a new rig for my little brother. Its been more than 5-6 years ago i build mine so a lot has changed. So my budget is around RM4,000-RM4,500 and if possible it will be included Monitor, Keyboard and Mouse. I also wondering whether worth it or not to go lowyat nowadays to buy pc parts instead of buying online in term of pricing? Local computer shop at Kota Kinabalu doesnt have much choices. (Lets just say my flight ticket fare to KL wont be a problem) Tqvm in advance for any suggestion. |

QUOTE(TristanX @ Dec 7 2018, 09:42 AM) If you can build it yourself, online may be cheaper Ya i am going to build it myself. Tqvm for the recommendation. What if i change Galax GTX 1060 to Sapphire RX570 8GB Nitro+ or RX580 4G D5 Nitro+ to save some budget, would that be a wise decision? maybe add another 8gb ddr4 ram, will performance increase or decrease? what would be effected by it if i change?Core i5-8400 - 799 MSI B360 Gaming Plus - 444 Kingston 8GB DDR4-2666 X1 - 259 Galax GTX 1060 6GB DDR5 EXOC - 1099 Intel 760p 256GB M.2 PCIE - 299 WD Blue or Seagate 1TB - 179 Corsair TX650M - 379 Corsair Carbide 275R case - 319 Acer R241Y - 499 Logitech MK100 mouse and keyboard - 79 (estimated) RM4355 total (Viewnet prices) QUOTE(Kristal.S @ Dec 7 2018, 09:44 AM) What about these: Tqvm for recommendation, yes going to assemble it myself. if online is just slightly cheaper then i might as well get it from lowyat myself. what is the difference between g-sync and freesync? and the same question as well, would it be wise change gtx 1060 to Sapphire RX570 8GB Nitro+ or RX580 4G D5 Nitro+ to save some budget, maybe add another 8gb ddr4 ram? Yeah but if you add everything up you might save around RM200-RM300? Freesync = AMD cards, GSync = Nvdia cards.GTX 1060 6GB performs slightly better in gaming (see link below) but yes you could certainly consider RX 570 8GB to pair it with your monitor since the one I suggested has Freesync. 8GB ram is the minimum requirement and sufficient for most gamers these days but 16GB gives extra headroom. It's your call whether you need 16GB ram. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LB3QOKtrg2w |

RX580 is around the same performance as GTX 1060 6GB. 4GB VRAM is enough for the graphic cards for now.....8GB is bare minimum for today's PC. Yes, 16GB is recommended. |
