Can anyone recommend a laptop below rm1400? As long as it could run dota in high settings and games like rainbow six around medium settings. I use it for school work and some video editing.

No issue. Nice high budget rig. I suggest getting Pro instead of Evo for M.2 SSD.

Thanks for the suggestion. If I'm only planning to use for 1080p gaming do you think trading the 1070 for a 1060+500GB SSD will improve overall usage experience?

Also I notice you recommended a CPU cooler for Intel but not AMD..is there a reason for this?

Depends on games. I can't max out World of Warcraft at 1080p for GTX 1070. Have to dial back the view distance from 10 to 7. Its up to you.

Intel K series does not come with cooler.

I'm gonna say the prices there is slightly above the affordable range, you can definitely find cheaper prices around lowyat but by cheaper don't expect anywhere above RM100+ cheaper

Hi, I would like to build a PC, things I need are CPU, motherboard and 4GB/8GB DDR4 RAM,
currently comparing Intel G4560 or AMD Ryzen 3 1200 pathway that I can probably save 250 bucks difference,
gonna use for web browsing, general word/excel and The SIMS,
re-using SSD, casing and power supply.
