My current pc had accompany me for around 8-9 years and i think it is time for me to get a new rig (changed Geforce GT240 and PSU 4-5 years back)


[Budget]
rm2.5-3k (is this budget fine for a casual gamer or it could be lesser?)

[Purpose]
surfing, online and offline casual gaming and do some simple work on microsoft word and excel

[Hardwares that will be re-use]
- thermalake Tr2 450W (it can be replaced if new rig needs better psu)
- Monitor, keyboard, mouse

[Games & softwares that use frequently]
league of legends, total war series, final fantasy series, microsoft office

[Personal preferences]
- prefer product with good reviews and stability (and long warranty perhaps? lol)
- need an internal dvd reader as well
- preferable this new rig can last for another 4-5 years
- should i get this new rig by this month or wait till next month?

I mainly use for work, need use browser with multiple tab and word and excel together, current computer will very lag when using it.

Don't see any issue there. You can get GTX 1070 without that SSD though.

Can anyone recommend a laptop below rm1400? As long as it could run dota in high settings and games like rainbow six around medium settings. I use it for school work and some video editing.
