Asus Tuf Rtx 3070 Gaming
3070 looks promising for maximum frames/dollar.
Found a white one for ~RM1k.

In terms of purely rasterisation, it actually outperforms the 5060 and the 4060Ti in a number of games.
Sure it consumes more power, but as long as it runs cool I can live with it.

I have more or less same build as you, rasterization i guess 9060 xt would fit more on your budget. Shopee is selling like rm1.4k now? You get a new gpu with 16gb VRAM covering for the future. TDP is also more efficient and if you are into frame generation or sort, 9000 series radeon will support AMD Redstone.

Initially i wanted to get 9060xt to save a lot more money, but i am planning on getting 4k OLED monitor so i went all out to get RTX 5070 instead to cover at least UHBR20 (latest monitor bandwith). It is something that Radeon doesn't have yet even on latest 9000 series. Although it does not matter honestly with DSC. Personally I don't play that much games anymore, even RTX 5070 is extremely overkill but if I do i am that individual that doesn't need everything to be maxed out. Just planning to hold the GPU for long time (my GPU is still r9 285 lol) so software support and of such really important for me and based on the internet feedback team green provide amazing software support for very long time. Also worried the memory pricing issues might plague over to GPU. shopee deals is going nuts, got my rtx 5070 at around rm2080?

For this build, I just want a GPU to "complete a set" out of all the spare parts I have.
A complete desktop would make it usable and at the same time easier to sell too

I did consider the 9060XT 16GB Powercolor white, but temps looks pretty high since it's a dual fan.
Too bad we don't get blackfriday below MSRP pricing for the 9060XT 16GB here in Malaysia.

RM2080 for 5070 is pretty good.
I sold my 4070 super for RM 2.3k earlier this year lol

Wait until the 8GB haters comes and tell you its pisspoor and VRAM buffer totally not playable, then offers you 6700xt for the same price with lesser raster perf but the 12GB VRAM will make everything okay...

RTX 2070S is slightly faster than RTX 3060 12GB. Go for RX 9060 XT 16GB or RTX 5060 Ti 16GB if you still play new games. Avoid 8GB for a new card.

Tough to reco for 1440P rig even at RM 7500 coz RAM prices going up daily. Orz

Can try the other parts:
7500F
MSI B650/B850 Gaming PLUS Wifi
Cooler, PA120/ SE or Frozn 620 whichever you can get cheaper
Any RTX 5070/ RX 9070 (nonXT)
WD 850X/ Sammie 990pro 1TB (ideally 2TB but these prices going up too!)
Any decent airflow case ie Corsair 4000D or Techware Nexus Air or Montech Air 1000

RAM is the big question, grab any 2x16GB 6000MHZ CL32 or below

For new build I wouldnt go down to DDR4 anymore, as DDR5 has about 20% perf gap
https://www.techspot.com/review/3059-ddr5-vs-ddr4-gaming/

You could save cost by buying only 1 stick first then maybe a year later buy another stick of RAM to add on
https://www.techspot.com/article/3066-singl...al-channel-ram/

With some compatibility caveats tho. With DDR4, you shouldnt do that coz risk of mixing RAMs with different DRAM chips even on the same series. However with DDR5, its usually with Hynix A dies so buying later theres still a higher chance to get another stick with the same A dies later on.

Whats your budget actually? What PSU are you going to use it with? 9060XT/9070 and 5070 will work with up to 650W unit but anything higher will need upsize that too. 9060XT has about same perf as 4070 TI Super so its not a substantial 'upgrade' from your sold 4070S imho.

Also the same for you. Whats your budget actually? What PSU are you going to use it with? If you can buy chunggous card also need to know your case space limitation.

Stop. Why would I recommend people new 8GB card for 2026? So you want them to buy a new card just to reduce quality or avoid badly optimized (some of them are good games) too? Even AMD makes a new card with 8GB. Avoid it. There are so many evidence developers stopped catering for 8GB. This is not about you.

No GPU price increase due to RAM prices at the moment. Price will go up as well.

DDR5 currently about triple the price. Its not easy to recommend something. Perhaps branded? Gotta look around and see which one has the least OEMness.

is not budget problem, is which gpu match with cpu so it would not be bottleneck, i just need to know which gpu should i buy if current gpu dead.

I've explained it in my post in the previous page, post#27679
I've a bunch of spare parts after upgrading my primary PC.

Other than the older GPU (4070 S) which I've sold off, I've the leftover Processor, MOBO, PSU, and SSD.
My goal is to use those parts to build a secondary living room PC.
And if I find I don't need it much, it's easier to sell a fully built PC anyway.

Leftover parts I already currently have.
7500F
Asrock A620i
Thermalright SFX 850W
16GB Orico ddr5 Ram 6000mhz CL30
s300 pro itx case white
Axp-90 x53 white cpu cooler
2x tl-b12015 slim case fan
Crucial p3 plus 1TB ssd

All I need now is a Gpu and the Pcie 4.0 riser cable for the GPU.
Budgets around Rm1.5k and I can go with used GPUs too.
Seems like for the best bang for the buck... it'll be a used 3070 or a very good deal on a brand new 9060XT 16GB.
