I'm currently on P45 system with E5450 proc.

I'm thinking to upgrade to Coffee Lake proc and Z370 mobo.

I have long lost with the technology that passing me by because I stopped looking at those after I bought my PC during P45 era.

currently I'm with P5Q Deluxe mobo, so I'm thinking to get this kind of mobo for my upcoming build.

Does ASUS Prime series come near to this mobo?

I would like to pair it maybe with i7 8700.

at first I thought I just want to settled with i7 7700 + Z270, but I just know that CLake will in stores on 5th Oct.

I only want to change mobo, proc and ram. other stuff, I think I still can use them. GTX760, Corsair 750W, Prolimatech Megahalems. maybe I add up basic Xonar SCard later on.

any suggestions?

Well, the overpriced graphic card is going to hurt your CPU backbone. Get something better like this one.

Thanks alot for your suggestion bro. I'm tweaking my budget and parts selection alittle for now. The previous case I had in mind was Coolermaster MASTERBOX 5. Tecware looks good for the price too!


Actually I'm thinking to re-using my GTX 460(old card...i know). I even upgraded the cooler to arctic cooler previously. I think it should be suffice for the games I mentioned at moderate settings.

Monitor? Add LG 22MP48HQ 21.5' at RM461. Switch the CPU to Ryzen 7 1700 if you dont need monitor.

Those casings is all depends on people. I suggest you pick one.

Intel CPU value will drop significantly after October 5th. I also won't recommend graphic card below 4GB unless budget is too low.
