Can you suggest me for the Hardware of below specs ?

Below is the Specs requirement:

Motherboard: Normal (Prefer Asus)
Power Supply: Normal
Casing: Normal
Processor: i5
RAM: 16GB
SSD: 128GB
Graphic Card (Optional)

Mostly use software is Microsoft Excel and Google Chrome only.
Running for 2 Monitors, would like to split the workload 1 Mon for Motherboard Graphic card and the other 1 Mon for External Graphic card.

Any suggestion?

I just realise ryzen don't has any onboard gpu, meaning yo need to get something like a low end gfx to power it?

Hi Guys,

Thanks for your feedback.
But it is actually use on Admin Department.

Doesn't need so high end for that.

A low spec one around or below 1.5k should be fine.

Any suggestion?

Thanks !

Yup, you still need graphic card for display.

Asking too much for this budget. i5-7400 alone already 780.

Pentium G4560 - 249
Asus H110M-K - 279
Kingston 8GB DDR4-2133 X1 - 297
Kingston UV400 120GB - 249
WD Blue 1TB - 210
Coolermaster Elite 350W - 139
Tecware F3 case - 124

RM1547 total (C-Zone prices)

Hi guys. I was in the midst of getting new rig. So far already purchased few items especially mobo. Was planning to choose Intel. Recently saw news that Coffeelake processors will be launched by this year. So the question is, should I just get the G4560 first and then wait for the Coffeelake to be launched. Current i7 7700 really kinda expensive when compared to Ryzen. If not because of mobo i would have gone to the Ryzen path.

Its unlikely Coffeelake going to come cheap. Knowing Intel, it might be more expensive than Ryzen 5 1600. If it hits Ryzen 7 1700 price point, you know what to buy. Price is not confirmed.

Option 1:
Sell off your motherboard and buy Ryzen setup. End of dilemma

Option 2:
Buy G4560 and wish the price isn't too high for 6 core Coffeelake.

Thanks for the opinion. Will think about it. Really confused and yeah Intel's price won't be cheap as well.

Thanks for your feedback.

Yea, I can understand that my request quite difficult haha.
Assuming 1080p gaming and browsing, is it still possible to meet the other requirements? Is this rig able to output 4K (video only) to a TV?
Thanks again!

Display 4k is not an issue. Performance for gaming at 4k is an issue.

Sure if you want lower price/performance. GTX 1060 is significantly faster.

Core i5-7500 - 869
Gigabyte B250M-D3H - 449
Kingston 8GB DDR4-2133 X1 - 297
Zotac GTX1050 Ti 4GB DDR5 OC - 789
Samsung 850 Evo 250GB - 466
WD Blue or Seagate 1TB - 210
Corsair VS 550W - 248
Tecware Edge case - 189

RM3517 total (C-Zone prices)

hi master shifus,

my friend just got a new samsung smart 4K tv, he would like to add a desktop to his living room.

use for: want fast and smooth web-browsing, some microsoft works, VLC movies,
some pc-only game (strategic/simulation game like tropico, simcity, indie games, not AAA type game since he got a ps4)

hardware reuse: have a spare 1TB green HDD.

budget: possible within 2k???

SSD for fast boot-up if possible.

keyboard, mouse & speaker will be reuse.

thank you
