The only reason to get that card is to run slightly larger LLM which requires you to fit in entire model in memory. However the 128-bit memory is holding back quite a bit on the inference speed.

This needs GPU virtualization, which is not officially supported in consumer line card.

The onboard Radeon 780M already can handle DotA 2 well. The 750W PSU leaves room for you to add GPU later on when you play more demanding games.

If you plan to use this machine until AM6, the one without plus work just fine with 7500F. The VRM anxiety is too overwhelming.

They are still fine with 65W models.

That is due to having stupidly high default clock speed that goes all over the voltage-frequency curve sweet spot.
Anyway AM5 has already laid out the power standard - 35W, 65W, 105W, 120W, 170W. Having PBO ECO@65W is perfectly capable for any games. Anything above are for sustaining full core clock speed when running multithreaded workloads.

We could see Zen 6 uses lower power at same clock speed. They swapped the interconnect to silicon interposer, so the power spent in Infinity Fabric will be way lower.

He mentioned for Ryzen 7 only. 9700X is 65W. Having it to run at 95W only boost multi core performance.

There is also latency to consider. Fury Beast comes with higher quality chip and does sell with 2 sticks kit for best compatibility to run at the rated speed.

7500F right? The official speed from AMD is 5200. Anything above are not guaranteed to work as there are other factors in play, namely CPU's memory controller quality, motherboard's memory path trace design and BIOS tuning.

AI stuffs are mostly crazily open source. AMD works just fine in the ecosystem. CPU will only do some data manipulation & transfer, too slow/inefficient for performing inference in practice due to limited memory bandwidth.

Ignore. BIOS update is a big question mark. Better off getting a 5600G + MSI A520M-A Pro board for that purpose. You also save money from cheaper processor & RAM.

Intel has fewer performance cores. The rest are small cores that has no chance against even Zen 4C. Having more cores also doesn't scale linearly.

Personally I won't suggest going for that. My past experience with them has been bad. Go for Arctic F12/P12.

SATA SSD is pretty much stuck since 2 years ago. Market moved on to NVME and manufacturer no longer make new controller for refresh. We are left with DRAM-less models without HMB (SATA has no HMB capability after all).
