erm..i cant reli see the casing for ur phone clearly but its like those normal type of crystal casing..hard wan..not skinning haha. oh yea..this phone no zoom mode for the 2mp cam?? i thought that got digital zoom rite?means when u take pic cant zoom at all? another thing: IF the phone do get scratches,do u all tink it wud be more obvious on the black or blue surface?

But i think most of the scratches are only visible under light. Like if i put my phone under my tablelight i can see it.

i think u didnt understand how major the scratch is.
the paint is so thin. it scratched the paint. if i scratched

Hahha. Same lor my firsy SE phone. Cause of the design,colour and its functions is like quite good.. got Songs, 2mb camera etc. Hhehe.

got a problem with my phone...used to be able to type in chinese language but now, i can't even change the language. the option is there but it cannot be selected. wht's the problem? =/

The camera's nothing to shout about but it's alright.

Like Mr.Shiney it's also my first time owning a SE phone. I was a Nokia diehard until recently when Nokia's phone design sucks. I care a lot about design. But I'd say I still prefer Nokia's UI though...Anyway! I'm really happy with my z610i now. I really take extra care on handling and usually I'm good at it.

About the famous Snow Effect topic, do you think it has anything to do with z610i and z610 versions??? Might not be very logical but just an innocent curious thought. And since mine's not an ori. set, if I bring to SE service center and update there, will they hate me???

took my ap set to se service center today to upgrade the firmware. Now my phone got the 'snow effect' when close the clam, it costs me rm40... current firmware version is R1JG001.

i went service center inside penang perangin mall..

i can't seem to change the writing language of my phone like i used to. what happened and how do i cure that problem? =/

Perhaps your firmware's corrupted.

Try bringing it to a service centre and have them check it out.

Most probably a reflash of the firmware will solve the problem.

So does this conclude that update firmware in SE service center will get the snow effect and SEUS won't?
