+1 This

Allen Carr has helped me too. I was sceptical at first because IT IS A BOOK. But i've never regretted picking up that book

I read the book too. Smoked for 15 years but clean for the last 6 years. The book actually asks you to smoke while you’re reading it. Reach the end and decide whether you want to quit.

Me too!!! Allen Carr Easy Ways to Stop Smoking helps me to stop. Been smoking 1 pack a day for about 15 years. Intend to quit once my little baby was born, then found Easy Way book. Finish reading after 2 days and never want to touch a ciggie ever since.

You can google the book pdf actually.

Actually smoking is more to your psychology rather than the nicotine itself. Nicotine will be cleansed from your blood within few days.

Even someone who stopped for few years, he/she might get back to smoking when their mind refreshed by those memories and habit. Such as, you enjoy smoking when having a drink with friends etc, you'll tend to miss it.

Hence, you need to delete all this memory CLEAN. Especially the memory of picking up a cigs when you're stress or depressed. You have to look for an alternative to fill up your time and something to release your stress.

Yeah, my 1st child was the reason I quit. I hated the fact that when I was with my kid, all I could think about was getting away for a smoke.

In addition to the post above me, I will never go back to smoking. Don’t miss it and I’m one of those who will scold people for smoking in places they’re not supposed to lol

What surprise me was it is not as hard as i thought it gonna be. I guess my smoker's mind just create excuse to make it harder to stop.

So my advice is to just do it. However be prepared before you attempt to stop. Reading the book will prepare your mind on what to expect.
