A single injury prone Lovren as backup is also a big no no. Unless we get some massive funds this summer I don't see us signing 2 centre backs this summer. There are more urgent holes in defence to be filled. An actual left back and a backup for Clyne. A bad backup is still better than no backup. And we still need at least a midfielder, a winger and probably a striker too if Sturridge is gone.

As long as we get a decent CB with good injury record Lovren wouldn't need to sit in as often. I prefer Gomez, yes Gomez is not premier league proven, by Klavan has been playing for whole season ady and I don't think he's premier league proven either. Lovren and Gomez for back up next season is okay I guess.
Ideal transfer for summer would be : 1 LB, don't need RB as TAA is backup for Clyne, a CM if Lucas leaves, a RW as Mane's back up, a left footed attacker (LW) and a striker that can score 20 goals per season, Torres and suarez type.

Perhaps the starting line up is a way of informing FSG, grooming players, tries hard may lose 0-1 to clubs like stoke FC

2nd half, intro better players (means $$$๐Ÿค“). Firmino, courtinho, sturidge, game play is much different and craves a win instead

๐Ÿ˜Ž๐Ÿ˜Ž

Hahah

With the mounting injuries we have, Henderson, mane, etc klopp was called out 'are you out of your mind?' For the starting 11 against Stoke. I can see he is protecting the our jewel players, for the remaining games ahead.

People said it's teams of lower half in the table, how hard can it be. For one, for no team in English premier league is easy and when it's almost end of season, the bottom teams might be struggling for points, it can be very crucial games too for them.

For liverpoolfc, it's always tough to play mid to lower teams ever since the premiership started

It's true. The whole team lack depth. We have a solid starting 11...but once the starting 11 is injured or go for African holidays we are badly exposed and crippled completely.

Looking at the table, it was a massive win to keep our rivals on their toes despite have played3 games more than arsenal & manu. Man city with all their star power can over take us for 3rd once season ends. It's up to us to keep faith & take the final 4th spot.

Keep up the points & book the CL qualification. We need everyone to play their roles.

Manu, and knowing mourino will look into winning Europa cup for that extra CL spot (still applies right?)

Ya... dont care we play more game than them. Points in hand is more important than games in hand. Man utd with europa league to play and 3 league match lesser than us means they going to play 2 match every week starting from now i think. This giv us huge advantage, dont think zlatan can help them everymatch. Arsenal wise, hope their star players keep on mogok. Haha...

Even City has some very difficult games remaining too - Soton, Tony Pulis' West Brom, Arsenal, United, Big Sam's Palace and a very in form Leicester.

I really am not greedy but it is not inconceivable that if we play our cards right, even 3rd might be a possibility. It's all down to our players to show some character like Coutinho and Firmino did last night. keyword used lol

I love to be positive, and rightly so as you said we should aim. (While) Given the circumstances that we aren't exactly full fit squad, almost to the extend klopp hand, one hand is tied down on players selections this season...And our indifferent Hyde form when it comes to lower teams ๐Ÿ˜“

City have amazing players. It's a speed bump year under Pep, maybe next year they get used to his tactics, they (city) like us started the season very well, everyone thought it will be a walk to the title (for them) suddenly, a massive hiccup their season got derailed (like us too in January)

Yesterday Coutinho's goal also set him as the highest EPL goal scorer for Brazilian.

He is an excellent shot stopper but when it comes to dealing with aerial threats and crosses, he is absolutely awful.

Guess nobody's perfect but I have to impute the 3 points to him alone. Only for that game

I think last season sevilla booked CL

And even Neville commented recently it's is likely Manu goal to seek that route qualification via Europa.
