By the way have a question to ask, when i did my first service in proton service center, the receptionist told me proton is providing two types of engine oil, they are voltronic and petronas. And she told me voltronic engine oil is relatively better than another, so I was listened to her and choose the voltronic one.

Is it really the matter that voltronic is better than petronas one?
*
Where do you service the car? Authorized service center? Proton service center only offer Petronas engine oil, I think your voltronic is because maybe they earn more by selling that engine oil, performance wise I wasn't sure as Proton will always recommend Petronas Engine oil even written in the manual

Same thought bro, i thought it was just my perception.
*
Always keep the air re-circulation on, there is a huge difference between on and off.

I have no problem with the air cond at all, it just late to kick in when car just started

haha..my wife sure BANG me...why new car keep send to service center... cry.gif  cry.gif  cry.gif

any of you get the ways to settle the air cond sound ?
*
If u mean the breathing sound, it was totally normal as it was the sound of gas expanding in the cooling coil.

If this sound totally gone, your gas probably leaked resulting no aircond

Rattling noise get worsen everyday xD, it's like there is a mouse chipping when driving under uneven road. After 16k km travelled, thats the only complain I got with the car. Might have to send the car in to SC for 2 days to fix the rattling noise, Anyone manage to fix it in 1 day? thinking on sending it to Mutiara Damansara SC
*
Eh... i guess our daily travelled distance is quite similar, your mileage is always 2-3k km more than mine whenever you reported your mileage biggrin.gif
Mine at 13k km now

Just send it for dashboard fix, but warn u... don't expect all sound to be gone thou, instead it will reduce some noises

160Kmph still manageable for me, I guess you can try reduce your tyre pressure? it give alot of road grip but sacrifice fuel consumption.
If you heard my rattling noise you would be wish that you just want to take the dashboard out? but wanna know the weird thing is, whenever I ferry anyone beside me inside my car, the rattling are not that obvious but when with me alone, this lil mouse generator chirping like crazy xD. Anyway hows your fuel consumption? mine lingering between 15KM/l ~ 16KM/l, give me around 26l ~ 420KM travel and with that still left 2 bar.
*
The dashboard noise somewhat related to in-car temperature... either when its hot will have those noise or when its cold... now if u tell me to describe what else noise I have, i can't pin point to you... it came randomly a lil bit of anywhere within the dashboard, when u felt the noise and try to pay attention, then its gone dry.gif
But those noise is really minor in my case like when you turn off radio and low fan speed only will realize...

My FC so far stagnant at 14-15+km/l, but the pick up tends to be smoother compared to before 10k km service... maybe due to lighter oil being used compared to last time. Will try fully synthetic in 20k km, that time should see some FC improvement due to new air filter thumbsup.gif

By the way I plan to change new set of shoes for this ride, Goodyear triplemax... wonder how these set of shoes fares against XM2 and CC6 hmm.gif

Takyah laju2 la bang, nanti kena saman  rclxm9.gif
I'm thinking on using fully on my next 20K service, thinking that only tambah RM80. Whats the harm in there. Waaa so cepat wanna change tyre already, later your change regret somemore. Road noise already diam, and then new noise came out of no where xD. TripleMax does give better grip and road noise but wear out pretty quickly because of the softer compound, if you don't mind changing tyre quite frankly and have deep pocket sure go la. Don't go CC6 la, grip takde later corner drift like takumi. XM2 like ours road noise available but grip are better in wet and dry, for cheapskate like me will go XM2 tahan lama sikit.
*
wa.... u also plan fully for 20k service... I believe you will change first as I'm always 3k km later than you. Feedback yo laugh.gif

I worried also lei, after changed tire later easily notice other noise hmm.gif

This Triplemax macam cheaper than XM2 lei... XM2 for richfag... plus my travel style which is not that much, I think a tire can last me 2-3 years will do...

Triplemax I see in Lazada only RM178 per donut inclusive balancing weh, so temping for a 195/55/15 drool.gif I think XM2 no RM220 no need touch...

Both gear also can.

Economical = D
Aggressive high RPM drive with bad FC = L

Hi,jz get my persona MT for 2weeks~
tats few problem tat im facing..
1)i cant really comfirm(mayb im still nt familiar with new clutch?)but is it really under
power during low gear(1st,2nd&3rd),it feel really slow on starting comparing with my
  20 years iswara..@@
2)i ned to release almost 90% of clutch to move the car(is it normal?or is it
  adjustable?)
3) wind noise on driver side during 80kmph but not eveytime@@(can be fix on sc?)
4)radio sound going up&down and sometime radio will totally mute for few sec.(hu
malfunctioned or antenna or mayb speaker??@@)

thanks in advance~
*
1)Part of it could be u're not used to the car as the sound and feeling of acceleration is very well covered by the car, another part of it could be
car still new? Or it could be like me having stop switch lamp problem? Based on many feedback it seems to be pretty normal to feel this at first... but later it will feel lighter and smoother... not sure due to our adaption to the car or the car eventually improved from running in...

2) Yes, the clutch release is higher compared to other car... u will get used to it very soon

3) Wind noise take to Service center for fix.

4) turn off RDS in the radio and also may take it to SC for check too if this don't work

Walaowei triplemax perdonut is RM178,  but XM2 someone used it till 80K KM and still the tyre can be use. My travel is around 20K per year, that will last me around 4 years if like that, honestly quite cheap considering longer used times. Any suggestion which fully I should go, I'm not that expert on engine oil xD
*
Of course the Petronas Syntium SE 5W30 said to be optimised for Proton brows.gif

For saving wise I don't think you get to save much from that XM2 lah when its so expensive to begin with... usage is also depending on how u drive too, if u ask my dad... one day tire didn't flatten, its still fit to be used doh.gif

Triplemax is alternative choice  biggrin.gif Could consider Nexen or Hankook too

Not familiar with Nexen and Hankook... maybe need study a bit...

Initially I plan for CC6, XM2, PS3, but now Triplemax seems like something that fit in between PS3 and XM2 without hurting the wallet...

TripleMax ya its good, which I currently using.  smile.gif

I checked with wengheng they offer me 170 per donut for 4 Triplemax 185/60/15

While trading in my 4 biji donut batu perak only get a total of RM150 for all 4 cry.gif

biggrin.gif I purposely want u try then give us the feedback .

But for review triplemax is really sufficient for grip, hard braking and wet condition.

How about the noise and comfort? do you feel obvious improvement on this new shoes?

I got 1 buying from lazada, no need drill just slot in. Pros : got box to put coins/keys and rest arms. Cons : Safety belt abit hard to engage and weird position when wanna release handbrake. If u driving cvt can get one, if u drive manual dont buy because u dont really need it as your left hand are busy shifting gears and it actually obstructing if u r having long arms.

if u have any proof of the conversation about the new head unit, please file a complaint through email & facebook to Proton on this, they should be able to help.

p/s:The SA ruined your day? if you're sure of this is purely his fault, u may ruin his day with mentioning his name in the email devil.gif

Planning to send an email, Im willing to pay some money to upgrade without voiding warranty. What do you think?

I wasn't sure how the purchase going on when the salesman dealing with you... if you have the proof of the conversation with the new HU would be best, or if the salesman did mention about the new HU to you but in the end did not deliver.

I would suggest you to email to Proton, file a complaint and see what they can offer to you first, don't offer u need to pay so early lah if you were promised to have the new HU to begin with... that'll be the salesman fault for not delivering what he has promised if he has promise such thing to begin with.
