The mat cutting design is exactly the same as the original mat so definitely did not cover the driver upper side. That is one thing I wished they should improve. I don't bother to peel the velcro double sided tape as the mat fits the the floor tightly. The middle piece until now is still in bend position after I install since 2 days ago. (and I dont even peel the double sided tape) . Maybe you got a defective middle piece? I thought of getting trapo boot but after some thinking i probably better off with a plastic boot tray. Anyone can recommend a good steering wheel cover? This post has been edited by chrono7: Apr 27 2017, 04:51 PM |

Anyone can recommend a good steering wheel cover? Is your center piece "light and stiff" or its "soft and heavy"? Will post mine tonight. |

QUOTE(nanamizuki @ Apr 27 2017, 02:50 PM) At first I really wanted the Trapo but due to budget concerns I get a normal car carpet with sidewalls instead. Installed it with some carpet clips and its just as nice. Maybe loses out on looks but it's functionality is much better. Able to contain the dirt way better due to larger and having sidewalls. Trapo does not have side walls and is larger albeit than the original fabric car mats. And thus, dirt will still fall underneath it more easier as compared to the Mr diy larger carpet with sidewall. Maybe later when I'm free I take some picture of my setup. |

QUOTE(monoikhwan @ Apr 27 2017, 09:58 PM) Yeah, this is weird. When it came to my door step, it is flatten but I did not face difficulty bending it and the piece stays that way so far.You should ask for replacement as this is likely manufacturing defect here. Now I am wondering how long this mat can last here haha. This post has been edited by chrono7: Apr 27 2017, 10:33 PM |

I also use Trapo mat, but I purchase the whole piece to DIY, only RM160. I cut it longer than original mat so it can fully cover the floor(include top right of driver side, the back seat cover untill the bottom of front seat. The boot I use plastic tray,so it still have 40% extra then I use it on my mother Saga BLM. |
