Hi,

Got my car on Monday and so far am quite satisfied with the car.

Just want to ask, do they provide a separate user guide for the car radio? Mine is Premium variant (radio is touchscreen type).

first, the back middle piece will not bend. it just stay rigid and will sway around when cornering.
velcro? forget it. it wont stick to the floor carpet. not even 30 minutes, it will go back to its original form.
it is hard as f.
edit: https://www.facebook.com/trapomalaysia/posts/836536646482119, see this claim? effing bs.

2nd, i even bought trapo for my trunk.
there are some cleaning detergent spilled, as of that time i didnt have any access to water, i just wipe it with some paper.
guess what? the paper sticks to the mat and its really hard to come off. even till now.

3rd, the mat doesnt cover enough for the floor on right section, upper corner on driver side, leaving some area prone to dirt.
might as well dont install at all as u still need to take it out and vacuum the floor.
i need to do this once in 2 days as the dirt easily sweep below the mat from that area.

4th the so called "customized" cut arent that precise, there are alot of areas having extras especially on corners which inturn make the mat wobbles during driving, and some areas didnt cover enough.
its like paying 350+ and getting pasar malam grade c made-in-china mat.
*
Hmmm...really? hmm.gif I just got my mat 2 days ago (only bought Trapo Classic. Dont need the boot)

The mat cutting design is exactly the same as the original mat so definitely did not cover the driver upper side. That is one thing I wished they should improve.

I don't bother to peel the velcro double sided tape as the mat fits the the floor tightly.

The middle piece until now is still in bend position after I install since 2 days ago. (and I dont even peel the double sided tape) . Maybe you got a defective middle piece?

I thought of getting trapo boot but after some thinking i probably better off with a plastic boot tray.

Anyone can recommend a good steering wheel cover? notworthy.gif

Do u mind sharing a picture of it?
Is your center piece "light and stiff" or its "soft and heavy"?
Will post mine tonight.

Here you go:

It is light like the rest of the floor mat but retains the shape. Note that I did not remove the tape.

Yeah, this is weird. When it came to my door step, it is flatten but I did not face difficulty bending it and the piece stays that way so far.

You should ask for replacement as this is likely manufacturing defect here.

Now I am wondering how long this mat can last here haha.

the dashboard rattling sound really getting more and more serious, especially at the front passenger side. Anyone goes back to SC to get it fix? And does SC really fix it?
As i know need to put a few days in the SC to let them dissemble the dashboard.
*
How long you owned/drive the car before the sound become unbearable?

Hmmm. Mine still less than a month ownership.

Sigh. Looks like nothing is perfect. Still trying to get use to the CVT since my previous car was manual. Need to drive even more precisely.

I will be thankful if the dashboard noise is not as noisy as my previous 20 year old car lol. sweat.gif

Please add me to the owner list. I already own for 3 weeks already haha.

chrono7 | Fire Red | CVT | Premium

By the way, my first FC that I got (calculated from the app, not the car dashboard) is around 10l/100km.

Is it within acceptable range or abnormal? My usage is around 70% highway, 30% city (calculated by distance, if time wise 25% highway, 75% city). And I did not do the first 1000km service yet.

Haha. Someone should try to aim 0.1L/100km tongue.gif

On the side note, the FC calculation on the dashboard does not seem to match with the manual calculation. Wonder what kind of algorithm they use.

Hi guys,

Since I am going for the 1000km service soon, is there any benefit to upgrade the engine oil to fully synthetic?
From my experience, I am pretty sure I will hit the 6-months service interval rather than 10k km service interval since I don't frequently travel in highway.

Just curious.

So far I never see any Persona on the road with the bodykit. What does it look like if anyone have some pics? I recalled when I asked my SA, it was not available that time (April 2017)?

fully synthetic will be better than semi, better performance and protection to your engine.
*
I see. The amount to top up is around RM120+ right if I remember correctly?

Seems like the new HUD comes with the new Iriz. Was surprised that even the Persona gets it as well if what the poster above mentioned is true.

I wonder how much it cost to change to that unit? But need more info and pics first.

I just change to a China brand player called "CrimeFighter".
Full android system operate just like a mobile phone and able to download directly from Play Store.
Sound quality improves a lot, better clarity and deeper bass ( 8"underseat woofer).
China player seems to have stronger built in amp compare to branded player like Pioneer, Kenwood or Sony. This enabled them to produce better sound quality without needing to add amplifiers.

Cons :
- Have to cut radio aerial connector as it have different jack.
- Lost of front parking function - never use before

* need to buy smaller USB thumbdrive 😁😁

Reverse parking still functional?
How much total for this?

I am guessing by changing the HUD, warranty related to electronic is voided?

Hi guys. I'm currently having the Persona Premium version. Wanna ask whether is there any light located inside the trunk? It kinda feels weird not having any light inside the trunk when i open it.
*
There should be a light source right above near the entrance when you open the trunk.

I noticed once that when I open the trunk the light is not lit (that time too busy too figure out what is wrong) but after a while when I re-open the trunk, it was lit. Never able to reproduced that scenario anymore since then.

I thought 1st service is 1000 km mark?

I top up to the fully synthetic oil as advised by other member here. Add around RM85.
