Should be good for normal use if you are connected to LAN and if wifi, within 5m rang otherwise it may suffer slow connection unless the wifi chip has been upgraded

QUOTE(AVFAN @ May 18 2017, 04:59 PM) Something for old android box users to consider, plan... Sifu, Q16 still able to play those?I see a quite a lot of new videos now cominng out in hevc or h265 format. Hevc is an efficient compression format, uses half that of h264. There has been continuous upgrades and new versions for hevc. Personally, i have noticed that over the last year or so, a couple of my older devices that could play or stream hevc in the past can no longer do that with the latest hevc videos... either no video or no audio. It is probably due newer n newer versions coming out. So, do upgrade yr boxes as and when u find necessary! |

QUOTE(fruitie @ Jul 5 2017, 12:22 PM) Mine is the same as yours except it is 3GB/32GB version. I've had 2 box with different weight same size and spec but the lighter doesn't give even one problem but the heavier one gives multiple problem resulting in having to do clean wipeLight or not, I'm OK la, so long it works. For Kodi, honestly speaking Krypton didn't work well, it kept crashing and hang my box. I switched back to Jarvis and everything works flawlessly now. |

Got this from Sg group, apparently has 239 channels with 300 days access. It's like a lottery some boxes may work. Once it's installed go setting under player select mx player. Once done reboot the box and try if u are Lucky

So my friend who "took" my T95M Sunvell awhile back recently asked me to help setup FTMC again as lots of addon has become redundant especially icdrama. So I help setup everything and it's working very well.
So I decided to test mkv file movies but however there's only the picture but no sound. Other files working well. Tried playing mkv files using mx player or stock media player results in the same. FYI, this box does not have DTS Passthrough etc What could be wrong? |

QUOTE(voncrane @ Sep 17 2017, 01:40 AM) Files are ok, have used the same multiple timesQUOTE(puchongite @ Sep 17 2017, 07:27 AM) Do you have a speaker system or the speakers are from TV itself ? Am using the latest mx player, have tried those settings with same outcomeThree things to try : 1. You can try playing back the Video using Kodi or FTMC. Yes Kodi and FTMC can play local files. Disable audio pass through if necessary. 2. Or you go to MX player setting --> decoder --> SW audio ( local ). Might have audio lag. 3. Upgrade to newer version of MX player which has HW+ decoder. This is somewhat problematic in installation as there are a few things need to get them right. What else should I be looking for. Reset is the last option as always |
