It all depends on your usage and frequently visited locations. If DiGi's coverage there is good and the monthly package suit your usage (internet quota, unlimited calls), then I'd recommend that you go for it. Just need to remember that you will be tied to 24 months contract.

Guys, need recommendation.

digi currently have promotion for iPhone 7/7+.

Which carrier would you suggest? Or buy the phone from machines straight up?

Any other recommendation? Can't wait till iPhone 8 as my current phone RIP already.

Don't have any 'old' phone? Because iPhone 8 just around the corner brows.gif

I just gave my almost 3 year old iPhone 6 to my daughter (she can't wait any longer), and now I'm using her phone Samsung S3, can u believe it?
It's at least 4 months to go till the launching of iPhone 8. I'm not really sure whether I can really wait that long shakehead.gif

go with maxis if you need maxis one plan, if you want phone to be cheaper and force yourself to take maxis one plan, then you should consider buying ourright from apple malaysia store online

for maxis one plan you have 0 loss even you terminate before 24months contract finish smile.gif

i make an example for you, iPhone 7+ 128GB RRP is RM4299, with MOP128, you pay RM2915(should be exclusive of GST) + 6* = RM3090, the total saving is RM1209
24 months contract, after you use 6 months, you terminate your contract, you need to pay maxis ~RM907 (contract termination before mature), so conclusion your phone price now become RM3090 + RM907 = RM3997

p/s: there are cheaper iPhone 7+ offer elsewhere, for example lazada, but be sure to buy from trusted seller like lazada smile.gif sometime lazada RM300-500 cheaper than RRP

nowadays for warranty purpose you're not going through the telco anymore but direct with the aasp. if u use as much per month and that u insist on Maxis, definitely better getting under maxis as it is subsidized cost.

Maxis plans are the most costly if you ask me, but then again you will get great coverage on network and data speed.

Wow! Nexus 5 user? That sure is a sweet phone. Performance & price in a good pack. One thing iPhone definitely beats Android in general is on the battery life. Simply gets you hooked up on long battery life without lugging powerbank everywhere.
*
Was a sweet phone. Till the battery started to deteriorate real bad. Was planning to get the S8 but found a better deal. Switched over and currently happy with it!

bro, for point number 2, when you start a video, you can press the 3 dot on the upper right corner.. you can choose quality there..
*
Yeah you can do that on wifi but not on data. It's auto if played using data....

Yes. Good. Especially when you are overseas and you want to save on roaming fees. You can also use it to receive and make calls on flights in Europe where there is Wifi on board.

Hmmm, lets see... MOP 128 was 3GB then vs 15GB on weekdays and 15GB on weekends now...

Big, big difference biggrin.gif

Perhaps Green & Blue is too busy building more tower that other so called telcos can leech in which gives them double incomce (own user + other telco users) for 1 price. Malas to flip the switch for VoLTE or VoWiFi coz 1. Will congest the data line. 2. Will make people take cheapest package with lowest data pack coz can use WiFi.
