my female hamster... seems like giving a weird sound... i tot breathing problem.. but she consistently giving this weird sound... why

are you using any scented bedding or sand?

paper bedding..... this is first time she make dat sound......

nope.. i dont use any scented sand bath.... like.... erm.. i dont really know how to describe.. later i go bek... i try listen it again....

it sounds like farting.... and it looks liketo exert herself to bring out something...but for 3 days straight

1 year + only.. later i try clean her place

after clean, replace her food and water with new one

wash the bottle ballbearing too.

then if can, dont give her too much bright light. (this is my own opinion, since i tend to think they are resting and trying to recover) low light shud be ok and dont go kacau her

Haiz, came home yesterday to find Jasper lying on the bedding in the open, bloody eyes and twitching. Five minutes later, mati di. Yesterday all still ok. Dunno what happened oso. Haiz.

Come to think of it, he has been sleeping a lot these past few months but still ada makan, exercise. Read that when hamsters age, they are not so active anymore.

O'well, we had a good 18 months with him. My kids were not very upset when we told them this morning - they wanted to see the body but my hubby sudah "disposed' di yesterday night. Haiz.

after a week the male died.. yesterday morning, the female died too

i bring them play around me mostly every night.. unless im busy and tired... just a week b4... my male hamster died... but he was quite old... and getting lazy... both of them playing together.. fighting.. yeah.. cz syrian... thy play together under my supervision..

Rip. pet hamster has average of 2 years life span. so maybe around few months in pet shop. but i dont understand the bloody eyes part tho. might wanna check the food and water?
