Good friend Avangelice,

What do you think, good friend, perhaps such an answer is not appropriate as it has no benefit to the reader. Perhaps, good friend, you may consider saying in an alternative way such as this:

"Such event is of little consequence to an investor who still is far away from retirement. This investor, perhaps is in the twenty something age, many winters and summers yet to experience before reaching retirement. He should not be overly concern with short term world 's ups and down.

However, for someone who is perhaps may need to use the money in six month or less, then such an investor is appropriate to watch the news more closely and react accordingly.

Weak or true is not an appropriate measure of an investor, length of time expected to hold the investment asset is a better gauge"

Hi guys,

Ken here, newbie for FSM. I cant perform a payment via FPX or Funds transfer. It will automatically set the payment method to cheque.

Anyone have any idea how to or I need to set up the FPX things?

I am using Maybank for the payment.
*
Yeah, i had the same misunderstanding last time when i first started using it. But actually its not a mistake, just carry on as per normal, it will bring you to the fpx page

Again if you read my first post, it was nothing to do with him sharing his knowledge. I am more than happy to learn from EVERYONE.
I just said it's a little insensitive for him to come here and celebrate each time market drops. Others are losing money and it's being inconsiderate. Some may argue it's paper loss but such crash can take time to recover. A lot of people have losses this year and eventhough it maybr paper loss, it still doesn't feel good.
*
But you cant control what other people say on the internet. People can do say all sorts of stuff especially in a forum like this. Not happy, keep on scrolling. See something which you think is good, continue reading/learning.

For those who think my post is toxic, be my guest and ignore my post. I am just posting my noob basic understanding. I am no master. Underlying unit trust is still stocks and no way fund manager can hold cash until drop of portfolio is not significant. I don't need people to believe me as real numbers don't lie. China market drop, asia pacific market also drop. US market drop, tech also drop. Coincidence?  whistling.gif  whistling.gif

Is never about boasting. Is always about value for money. Making money work harder for you in the shorter amount of time. You know market is expensive and you still want to go in? Then really good luck la. Like you know a tsunami is coming. Still want to go to the beach? Ok, maybe tsunami is too far fetch.

You know now monsoon period, still want to leave house without an umbrella?

If someone claims that they can time the market they are wrong. No one can time the market, but you can prepare for bad market. How? Sit on cash and don't do anything. When things are expensive, don't give chase.

I am a simple person with simple brain and simple logic.
*
Exactly, it's a forum,. Please do continue speaking your mind, and everyone else but do keep it logical so everyone can learn from both perspectives !

Those unhappy, no one is forcing one another to invest in any specific way. We are all here to get returns on one's own money anyways . different case la if you give money for ramjade to invest for you

Thus i see no big impact

majority of the tax has not been set. 10% to 25% supposed to kick in on January, and supposed to further escalate it to cover more goods. They have 90 days ceasefire only, we have to hope they can sort it out within 90 days if not back to square 1 . That is why market breathe a sigh of relief today

Maybe they just want people to be aware of FSMone. Then more signups I guess for that platform.
