KGF 15%
AHSBF 30%
cimb greater china 10%
cimb global titan 15%
ditch cimb India indo China in lieu of manulife India 10%
Rhb emerging market bond 10%

Guys, any of you know any Singapore forums that have FSM SG thread, and as active as our thread there?

I have gained a lot of knowledge from this thread, and now as I will be working in SG soon, I am thinking of investing via FSM SG.

I dont plan to use SG to invest in FSM MY, partly because MYR is so volatile now and I am afraid it might continue to drop.

if you know how to read mandarin cariforum even better dasecret has the link. most fsm staffs are there anyways

Wow! What a coincidence... I exited all my India exposure during early Aug 2017.

Do I have a crystal ball or not?

I was with India for about a year and made a high teen ROI for this UTF.

Cabut'ed when risk and reward no longer deem favourable.

Xuzen what do you currently hold in your port?

as of now mine looks like this

Attached Image

I'm thinking to switch India to something else but don't know where

ADD On

after much deliberation I chose to sell all my India exposure with a profit of 4xxx

will begin using the said funds to DCA into Global Tech and RHB EMF

your statement doesn't do anything to the discussion. people asking why suddenly up during a correction and why yen is a refuge for investors, you talk about small caps during peace time.

QUOTE(xuzen @ Sep 28 2017, 02:33 PM)
I hold the same UTF in my port since my last Algozen™ ver four revision which is about two months ago. No change to my composition.

That is:

1) TA Tech @ 30%
2) Manureits @ 10%
3) IDS @ 15%
4) Esther bond @ 25%
5) RHB EMB @ 20%

(No Pokemon Go style)

BTW I will be doing another Algozen™ ver four port run in Dec 2017 if there is no major news. As of this moment, looking at the composition, no major movement needed.

Walkman660,

My India IRR is meaningless as I held the UTF for about a year only. Hence ROI is more applicable which is around 19.XX% from my memory.

Of coz the Sub Fee is cheaper than DIY  laugh.gif
You own DIY can be 100% EQ, so your effective sales charge is 1.75-discount %

but for Sub Fee, say Aggressive Portfolio maybe 80:20 ratio for EQ:FI. So the effective sales charge is 0.8 x (1.75-discount %), which will be lower than 100% EQ DIY.

But if your DIY portfolio is not 100% EQ, then your effective sales charge might be less as well  tongue.gif

AFAIK, Managed Portfolio FI doesnt need to pay platform fee, so it is still cheaper if you ignore Management fee hmm.gif

partly because I'm more focused in my stock portfolio and my clinic these days and it's frustrating that I do not have the ability to freely move funds from one to another without thinking multiple steps ahead.

funnyface it's something I do not mind because I intend to keep the money in fsm for a very long time

Dear sifus , I'm new to this fsm.

Currently have about rm1k to invest in this stuff. How do I start to minimise sales charge and which fund to buy in view our current economic climate?

So far eyeing ponzi 2.0 and kenanga growth fund this two only. Is it wise to start with 500 -500 each? Or there is minimal investment required?
*
minimal investment is 1k. with that money of yours either place in esther bond fund or any equity you desire
