QUOTE(Ancient-XinG- @ Jan 25 2019, 09:28 AM) don't view it on app or mobile. it's crap. ha, what a joke.I currently away. later when I back will highlight to you. their research articles usually just our talk cock session. moreover, expectation and forecast during q1 is not usually accurate. because. no one can ever know the direction of market. FSM may promo China as they like, like the time they prompt GEM last year. look at how bad GEM perform. the only thing they dislike and only got a 2 stars is US. look at how US perform. but when they pick it up in managed portfolio, US and EUStoxx start to slump. now I suppose they start dumping. FSM keep telling us they are looking at long term horizon, so don't care about short term suffering, as long as we keep invest, they earn lol |

QUOTE(killdavid @ Apr 19 2019, 10:54 AM) You have so much confidence in EPF ? I think so, after looking at their respective fund reports, can still holding the bond fund for now and make decision next month when the speculation clouds become clearer, if really want then sell off Eastspring Bond Fund.So a quick look on the factsheets of Affin SBF, Eastspring IBF , Nomura i Income and Asnita, only Eastpring has MGS in its top holdings. ASBF is majority foreign corp, Asnita local corp and Nomura local corp sukuk . Those worried can stay clear of Eastpring Investment Bond Fund. |

Still learning, I tend to actively watching stock and ut chart when I was new investor with nil experience. Abit useless found out at least in my case. It affects my other daily routine on and off.
Now gradually shifting to 'watch' how the market perform once in 2 weeks or even monthly, so I won't do silly emotional judgement and transaction every now and then market drop and up suddenly. Keep investing yet stay alway from the charts. Is market timing a good practice? I don't know, but many masters say no. Still learning, it's fun to learn while investing like all of you here. QUOTE(Drian @ Oct 18 2019, 01:01 PM) What's your definition of boost? KLSE has been drop 16% from its peak at early 2018, lots of foreign investors sell off their holdings here, I have reduced my porfolio holdings on malaysian funds also, now consider increase back some malaysian funds holding ratio.+ 20/30 points KLSE? Maybe but it is in no way significant though compared to india tax cuts. reach 1800 level in 2017/2018? NO yes the global markets now is bit volatile and bearish, malaysian has been underwater as compare to other region markets. after budget 2020 and 1 and half year after new government take over, investors might relook into malaysia market again?? nobody will expect KLSE can reach 1800 again, maybe can recover 6% of its loss from the total 16% drop by year end also not bad lol |

QUOTE(xuzen @ May 18 2020, 03:25 PM) No, I no longer play individual stocks. I stop playing individual stocks a long time ago. Some people may like it, but I find the few years that I was involved in; I got too engrossed reading analysis after analysis. It became a chore after a while for me. For UTF, I am like riding a helicopter with a top down view of the macro environment. I let the micro-analysis be done by the fund manager / chartered analyst. For that I am willing to pay them a 1.5% management fee in exchange for better quality of life. Ha, great approach as I found stocks are hard to invest even after we did lots of analysis and research, we still cannot suffer from the market turmoil. As most Malaysian actually 'play' stocks instead of 'invest' in stocks. Xuzen Love what you said on invest in UT like "riding a helicopter with a top down view of the macro environment" |
