QUOTE(contestgeek @ Mar 24 2017, 07:29 PM)
I came across this company recently. Have invested in the past. Have the following questions (apologies if they are dumb):

1) Is there any exit fee involved? Say I want to withdraw my investment from the website into Maybank, what are the costs involved? If my fund's net balance on the day of transaction (I am aware of forward pricing, yes) is RM1521.20, what amount will be deducted for transfer into my bank account?

2) I don't understand the Equity > Bond > Equity clearly. If say I transfer equity fund with RM15232 into a bond fund...I get 15232 credits, correct? But then the bond fund will slowly appreciate..meaning it is impossible to go back into Equity Fund since the credits won't be enough. Is this how the company "tricks" people, or am I missing something?

3) Is it possible to open multiple sub accounts? This is because I have RMXXX to invest now, strictly for long term. In the near future, I will have a shorter investment horizon. If I buy Kenanga Growth Fund RM5,000 today, I want to keep it separate from my future investments in the same fund. Hope somebody understands what I am saying.

4) Is 1% service charge really applies? On my checkout page it says 2%.

5) Bond has 0.05% quarterly platform fee. If say I transfer in RM2500 into bond funds and hold only for 1 month, is my cost RM2500 * 0.05%/3?

I will answer what AIYH haven't answer
1. Forward pricing means you won't know the price of the buy and sell. But we can roughly guess. You will only know after the buy/sell is executed. When you will know? Usually next day.
Eg
Sell on Monday before 3pm, fund price will be Monday's price
Sell on Monday after 3pm, fund price will be Tuesday price

3. Just buy RM5k today. Then say you want buy another RM5k next year (Short term usage) just buy. For your short term investment, just withdraw what you want? No need 2 separate account.

My Investment in rhb Asian income now negative return is it still worth?
*
Is not 3 years, so just hold/inject more money. Ask yourself why is it negative. A small negative isn't anything. Try -15% see whether you still have the heart or not biggrin.gif devil.gif

You should experience a -15% return and then your heart will be brave for anything. tongue.gif

Btw, I been there and done that. But really cursing buy and then in one month it drop to -15% like that and stay there for quite a while. bangwall.gif ranting.gif

Ok, one more issue guys. I am really sweating right now as I put in a large lump sum amount into Kenanga Growth Fund and CIMB Greater China Fund.

When I click "View Holdings", I see the button PAY NOW at the right hand side. I already PAID!!! It shows status as pending. Yet I got email confirmation from FSM + FPS and also the money is taken out of my bank account.

Please help, I don't know what to do anymore.
*
It's normal. Because you buy now, FSM office only open tomorrow and all transaction are cut off at 3pm, you will see the status change either by tomorrow or tuesday.

Ok but can you confirm I will be able to get them at tomorrow's prices? (i.e. priced dated 27/3, and yes I know forward pricing applies so this price will only be known on Tuesday).
*
Since you paid today, you will get tomorrow's price.

I will never invest in something that have 15% drop

Unexpected happens. Who thought that RM will drop to 4.5x vs the USD? Who thought Donald Trump can win? What happen if trump had a heart attack and died tomorrow?

When uncertainties appear, what do you do? Cut your losses? Sit tight and do nothing? Pump more money in? Something to think about.

I have AH select bond in my portfolio. Didn't received any notification from FSM about it. When did this happen ?
*
Before AH Select Bond fund was opened back to public. I think it was closed to FSM buyers for years. Those who bought initially can only sell it. That time, you still can buy but have to buy from branch/agents.

Means you won't be able to buy anymore. But you can sell.
It will close once it reach RM400m. Now it's only RM300m. SO if you want to buy, you better faster buy
