Hmm I have been contacted by a Client Investment Specialist. Why did they suddenly reach out to me? Were all of you contacted or did I just hit a loyalty benefit or something?
*
Maybe they want to promote Managed Portfolio to you. tongue.gif

Hi all sifus,

The sales charge 1.75%,  is charged both times or just one time only?

Means when I buy kena charges 1. 75%, then when I sell kena charges 1.75% again?

Tqtq =)
*
Buy only unless the fund got redemption fee or lock in period.

It's OK.
I think T231H has clarified.
There's no SC and exit fee under FSM.

It's quite clear that within FSM, there are people there who likes Cimb Global Titan, that accounts for the 16% of it in Managed Portfolio.  brows.gif

That's for the sake of diversity into developed markets (3 in 1).

These could be much narrow diversification as compared to the Titanic Fund.
Just my two cents.

hi guys, wanna ask a newbie questions again.

As per today, ponzi 2 is red red red!!

So, i planning to buy ponzi 2 via FPX during 230pm @0.3904

But somehow system error, and i manage to buy it at 310pm.

According to FSM,
"Payments received after 3pm or on a non-business day will be transacted on the next business day."

What if the next day the price for ponzi 2 increased to 0.3910 instead of 0.3904 .
WIll i be charged 0.3910 or 0.3904?

Thanks all sifus.
*
Since their system time captures as 3.19pm. It'll be based on tomorrow NAV.

I found out that lately Affin funds do not really perform well.
Is there a management shake up?

Famous Bond fund, famous Ponzi 1.0 and the REIT-property fund.

Those are Malaysian heavy funds, the second half of the year Malaysia stock have been rather stagnant. I say it's mandate issue.
*
But, the REIT-property fund is heavily at China, Singapore & Indonesia according to its September factsheet.
Malaysia holding is < 10%

I beg to differ. Check your recent figures.
*
I bought both funds in March 2017.

Affin Hwang Select Asia Pacific (Ex Japan) REITS and Infrastructure Fund ROI is merely 2.7%
Manulife Investment Asia-Pacific REIT Fund ROI is 8.0%

Both ROI is updated to yesterday NAV.

For reference (not my portfolio):

My manulife reit is still negative after several months. That I purchased using 0% service charge.

Maybe I entered when it peaked.
*
I have ditched AmAsia REITs fund due to its slacking performance.
This Affin REIT-property fund I bought using EPF. With merely 2.7% return, it barely can cover the SC of 1.75%.

Last two weeks, I remembered its ROI has peaked to 5% and I thought it'll be on-track to beat EPF dividend but this few days, the trend reverses.

hmm...it is weird to see people take EPF to buy REIT since other funds have higher chance of beating EPF.... hmm.gif
Any reason not choosing other EQ? hmm.gif  Normally would chose highest risk and highest annualised return since it is for long term  laugh.gif
*
I chose REIT because tried to be conservative.
REIT fund should offer balance between favourable risk and return and may beat EPF dividend.
Still it's EPF money, I don't want to take too much risk with it.

3 REIT funds was under consideration at time.
Manulife REIT wasn't in the approved MIS list.
AmAsia REIT approved but FSM system now.
So, left only this Affin REIT-property fund to choose for.

I should have just dumped into Ponzi 2.0 but not sure if it was in the MIS list back in March.
