Need Advise form FSM sifu.
Switched form Equity to bond Funds 3 mths ago
Now wish ti switch back to China funds.
so
1) Recommend China Funds
2) FSM charges 1.75% for switching BACK to Equity funds ( On all Funds managers). So is there a better way to reduce the 1.75% charges for switching?  Though of, sell Bond Funds to CASH management fund. Then BUY using CASH management fund. I'm a Platimun Holder. So ... 1.00% ??

hmm.gif EQ to FI 3 months ago,
now want to switch back from FI to EQ

when you switched from EQ to FI, they will gives you some Credit points, use those credit points to offset the charges from FI to EQ

credit points TnC
https://www.fundsupermart.com.my/fsmone/fun...6-Credit-System

China fund?....try check out EI Dinasti....

btw, China funds had been up abt 8% since the beginning of the year,
....should have stayed put 3 months ago.....

why want China now? and why did you switched from EQ to FI 3 months ago?

Switch Funds For Free with FSM’s New Credit System!
Hot on Fundsupermart.com is the credit system. This new system allows investors to switch funds without paying the tier charge.

https://www.fundsupermart.com.my/fsmone/art...w-Credit-System!

note: from that article....."The free switching is only applicable for intra-switch and not inter-switch."

btw,.....may we know from what EQ fundhouse did you switch to FI Fundhouse 3 months ago?
and now from this FI fundhouse you want to switch to what EQ fundhouse?

Hi guys, I've been holding on to Kenaga Growth Fund KGF for over a head and its red all over vs Last year (->10%). Do you guys think that its worth holding on anymore or just cut my losses and reallocate them to China/Asian funds which is the trend lately?

This KGF is how many % of your ut portfolio?

57%. the rest is in  Eastspring Investments Equity Income Fund and TA Global Technology Fund
*
with KGF at 57% + EIEIF also another Malaysia focused Equities fund.....thus can easily be 80% in Malaysia alone

may I suggest that you realign to a more geographical balanced and diversified port....
unless you only wanted to lopsided focus in Malaysia only....

Wew this is scary. Isn’t bond fund considered one of the safest?
*
even the Darling of most...the Libra AnistaBond fund has this in its product highlight sheet

There are many possible outcomes associated with an investment and all investments involve some degree of risk.
Different classes of assets generally exhibit different levels of risk.
It is important to note that it is not always possible to protect your investments against all risks, as events affecting investments cannot always be foreseen.
When investing into the Fund, you should be prepared to accept some level of risk and should read and understand the contents of the MP for information concerning certain risk factors before investing.

Key Risks of the Fund:

 Credit/ Default Risk  Liquidity Risk  Inflation/ Purchasing Power Risk

 Interest Rate Risk  Market Risk

The value of the Fund and its distributions (if any) may rise or fall. These risk factors may cause you to lose some or all of your investment.

https://www.fundsupermart.com.my/fsmone/adm...nceMYLIBABF.pdf

btw,...it happened to RHB FI funds too some years ago...during that time FSM suggested to get out before it is too late biggrin.gif
