Trump warns of ‘Plan B’ on China trade

WASHINGTON: President Donald Trump said substantial additional U.S. tariffs would be placed on goods from China if there’s no progress on a trade deal after his planned meeting with Chinese counterpart Xi Jinping at the G-20 Summit in Japan.

"My Plan B with China is to take in billions and billions of dollars a month and we’ll do less and less business with them,” Trump said Wednesday during an interview with Fox Business Network’s Maria Bartiromo.

This guy, I tell u. Champion. He says he want something, then on another hand he shoots the deal n flush it. It's so obvious he doesn't want the deal to happen. He just wants to keep on talking about it.

President Donald Trump said the U.S. was “right back on track” with China after a high-stakes meeting with Xi Jinping on Saturday.

Trump called the meeting with Xi “excellent”

“A lot was accomplished actually last night,” Trump said prior to meeting Xi. “The relationship is very good with China. As to whether or not we can make a deal, time will tell, but the relationship itself is really great,” Trump said, adding that he and Xi continued to have “a very good friendship.”

definitely not the end yet..

Definitely not the end but it's the ideal outcome for now! No escalation with the hope of de-escalation.

Green Monday hopefully

doesn't matter if the feeder fund hold 0% cash...if the target fund hold 15% cash, then you are effectively having 15% cash uninvested.
*
Exactly , uninvested cash but charged management fee.

Ic. So like that dividendmagic guy la. So u into dividend stocks investing or etf? Malaysia or Singapore or somewhere else?

How has been the return so far. I am interested to know more too actually.
Thx will look into it.

Any witholding tax for buying etf using interactive broker? If I recall last time used to be a 30% witholding tax for non us citizen. If that's the case is it still worth it?

AM Dynamic Bond return since early August 2019  +0.35%
Libra Anita Bond Fund return since late May 2019  +2.57%

Stashaway ETF, risk index 6.5% since early August 2019 +1.6%

Haih, really don't want to keep this managed fund but I need it as a benchmark for my own performance.
My guess they are performing poorly because they put in too much allocation to malaysia equity scene which is the worst performing index in Asia.

Oh, use a more generic benchmark bro! your money can perform better elsewhere IMHO.

So for safekeeping the Normura i-income is not bad for the moment?

I added into Nomura cause of the above(sort of safe keeping) and predicting another rate cut by BNM.

Sounds decent but maybe too heavily in Retail segment. REITS are a little overvalued in my opinion. (low yield at current price)

Like to ask those who have sold their Spore REIT in FSM on the 10% dividend tax. My understanding is, the 10% dibidend tax on REIT is for non Sporean and I assume FSM Spore does not pay that as it is a Sporean company. But when Msians sell the REIT via FSM, do they later deduct the 10% tax? Thanks.

Hi uncle! Long time no see, I thought recession coming this year already.Market hit ATH again since you closed your thread regarding selling all your stocks regarding impending recession.
