I bought Asus B450I motherboard from Taobao but I think need a 1st or 2nd gen Ryzen to boot to update the BIOS so that it can recognize 3rd gen Ryzen. Where can borrow 1st or 2nd gen Ryzen? Or I can just put in the 3rd gen Ryzen to update the BIOS?

According to Reddit, embargo on Ryzen 3rd gen will end at 9 pm MYT 7/7. So, excited. Youtube reviews. This will be my 1st AMD build. All has been Intel in the past.

Any difference between 3800x and 3700x? Better binned? Less heat?

Anandtech said new firmware released on 7/7 got better boost clock for 3900X. They will update the review soon.
