about 2 months ago, asus already publish new bios for your mobo to support ryzen 3000 series.

assume ok now, since no new nagging posts about it .
just besure ur motherboard upgrade to the latest bios@2019 .

I guess B550 is as cheap as B450 .
The reason X570 more expensive ,just becoz it is for high-end market .

wow, after nvdia drop the price (I mean launch their Super series),
AMD also drop price of their brand new navi before launch.

very sure, no drivers also got EventID 17 warning (WHEA-Logger, System) in the event viewer, just the matter of time. btw, no data loss , file corrupt or performance loss is found yet.

From my observation, fresh install win10 build1903 v1 from officer iso (without install any drivers , no amd chipset drivers, no internet connection, no windows update) running it for some time, and then it first happen after
trying to run multiple instance of hdtune and fail to eject the thumbdrive (coz still running software from it) ...
tested on x570 mobo(with original bios, not the latest bios) with nvme ssd(no raid).


Don't know about other version of win10, didn't have a chance to try ...

u should install the chipset driver (no matter amd or intel platform), unless u know what u r doing and u doing it in purpose...

no,AFAIK, hyperx fury 3200 c18 is Micron-E die (D9VPP)
btw, I do agree that, with that budge , it deserve a better ddr4 ram (c16 or c14, or faster speed)
and the mobo, I think aorus master is good enough, and worth it's price .

just a quick update here,
after all the experiment, I found that EventID 17 Warning only happen while the NVME SSD was located at first m.2 socket, After relocating it to second m.2 socket, no Warning was shown in eventlog anymore..
all necessary drivers was installed, btw..

Did u try to touch the heatsink while the temperature was displayed at 85c or 71c?
AFAIK, those temperature reading is the temperature inside the cpu, they are not the temperature on the heatsink.
if you touch the heatsink ( eg: stock Wraith Prism) the temperature around the heatsink is quite low actually..
so I think it would not be an issue
btw, is it a bug or flaw ? don't know either.

would u mind sharing/or PM me the link of those users pc shutdown by using stock cooler?
general speaking, It is quite hard to get the cpu overheat shutdown . more higher chance that vrm overheat, so have to shutdown the system.
But, we need to know more detail for sure...

their latest bios on their website is, F4g

yes,very sure this ram stick is in the QVL list of this motherboard.
and ryzen 3000 series (mettise) support 3200Mhz natively.

p/s: I simply forgot the existance of 3200g and 3400g,
for 3000 with G series cpu, they r working at 2933Mhz natively, and we should look at the QVL list for "picasso", not the " mettise"..
btw, those QVL list for Picasso either Empty or MIA status at the moment.. (just random visit some b450,x470,x570 mobo website)
so, For 3200G and 3400G, it is more safer to follow the QVL list of Raven Ridge in this circumstance.


no , gigabyte also got this RAM in their x570 mettise RAM QVL list.
I think this kind of ram issue is very common , please ensure u check the QVL list first before the purchase..

yes, for gigabyte, the bios with alphabet suffix is beta bios.
eg: F2a , F2b, F2c ,,...etc all beta bios. and F2, is the final bios.

btw, the F2 bios of your mobo is fine, it boost normal... or, u have to wait the final F6 ..
the F3->F5 is not ABBA firmware.

p/s: Judge from your hardware spec, most probably your ram not stable enough while overclocking, so mobo run them at stock speed...
so the cinebench R20 score lower abit..still not bad ,actually.

yes, u need to replace your cpu cooler with after market cooler.
the one come with 3600 is not recommended.
Actually, there are some after market air cooler is good and cheap, less than RM100.

If you r using 3700x or above, the stock cpu cooler is good enough, u only have to adjust the fan curve in the bios to kill the frenzy noise.
and the cooler come with 3600x is ok too, need to adjust the fan curve as well ...

no matter what company , Malaysian always get neglected.

The exception is, for the x570 early adopters, if your r buying mobo from msi, u can get a liquid cooler for free.
other company, asrock, asus or gigabyte? I don't know... maybe have a chance to win a car( asus 30 anniversary event) or pcie4 1TB ssd luckydraw (only 3 chances, have to competition with b450,x470 owners )..

who knows...maybe RX5600 or RX5600XT at that price range...

nod... if still fail after that, then need to re-do the thermal paste (must be a bad mounting while clipping the the stock cpu cooler. very hard to mount , isn't it )
btw, before u doing that, u may try to check the integrity of the ram , do some memtest thing...maybe there are ram issue.

yes , BUT depend on the motherboard. (short answer)

if u visit amd website, u will found that those ryzen apu officer support displayport and hdmi only.

so, if your motherboard doesn't come with both displayport and hdmi, and u wanna do it among vga/dvi/hdmi port.
then I guess u have to ask the motherboard maker for the answers.
different model from different company might end up with differrent results.
some of them may support dual monitor, some of them don't. (AFAIK)
