coz Im thinking of upgrading from G4560 to R5 1500x/1600. Thought just swap CPU+Mobo. both my ram are DDR4 2400 by Kingston 4GB & 8GB.

don't think you will have error pairing it with the Kingston ram. Perhaps you can test it out? some retailers have live Ryzen demo at their outlet. Viewnet/C-zone/Jayacom/Topmaid... ALL IT have too if not mistaken.. smile.gif

I would suggest going to Czone at PJ digital mall. They are experienced enough and price is stated in their price list already, very competitive.

Else let us know which area you from? Maybe everyone can help to suggest.

Forget about PI stocks. Although processors don't easily give you problem but who knows right.. just to be safe, purchase a local stock with proper 3 years warranty at least you will have a peace of mind 😀

this issue happen in last year, during Ryzen launch.. and few months after that launch.. but currently mostly ok already..

GEIL / CORSAIR / KINGSTON / GSKILL all also can .. use the common one .. to avoid any hiccups smile.gif

based on paper spec, i guess the 2600x wins all the way rclxms.gif

for i5 3570, i think you compare with Ryzen 3 1300x enough
