basically, coffee lake is just a sky/kabylake with extra core and thread, so no surprise here.

it is not like amd who went from the bulldozer/piledriver trash to the new zen microarchitecture which is quite impressive.

easy, just buy what u want and be happy with it, no need to bash each other sweat.gif

It's not bashing i guess, History proved Intel Milking their tech if there is no competitor. If you u don't learn from History, Buying Intel/AMD is equally good for now, why support Company that have bad history?

Svm is virtualization, it should not affect the memory speed.

Go into bios to enable xmp.

Not really sure though but my mobo also same, when enable Intel VT-D, my memory also can't run at 2400 and keep reboot till mobo reset ram to 1333.

Hm, Intel vtx? U mean other Intel mobo? Since Ryzen use amd v.

Maybe bios bug, try update it or manually enter the memory speed and timing.
*
Yeah, Intel Virtualization. Bios already update to latest, it just can't boot with 2400, will keep reboot till memory at 1333. No more problem after disable.

Note that it drops compatibility with many operating systems and ONLY supports Windows 10 unlike your A10-6800K.

Definitely not an upgrade according to me.
*
If i'm not wrong,
2200G = 1200 + Vega, 1200 took away from the CPU list
2400G = 1400 + Vega, 1400 also took away from Ryzen cpu list

Same price with Vega, definitely (Big) upgrade from A10-6800k

Not as fast as the i7-8700K.
*
It's by case if u compare 8700k to 2700X which is better, 8700K is not always faster than 2700X in all cases. Both of them is actually on par, if money for performance, 2700X FAR better.
