QUOTE(mark @ Dec 29 2007, 07:49 PM) don't think it will break. but usually... if there are fireman... they would have an axe that can break it, right? lonewolf: yeah... that's true. might as well get better brands, right? thanks. i looked at 3M today... wonder if it's very good? 3M is good. 10 year old vitara still not a single scratch. wait my digital camera come back i give u snapshot.

I'm using 3M crystalline too...great tint - rejects heat quite well and keeps the car cool but problem is it's not dark enough I heard from the tint shop that the latest film from huper optik is the best one. But dont really understand what he means by 'best'.

I have V-kool on two cars, Rike Cool on the 3rd. Honestly speaking I think Rike Cool is a piece of crap, the heat rejection is not as good as V-kool and I didn't really save a whole lot of money going for it. Even on a black car on a hot day, V-kool is better. I don't mind sticking my remote close to the sunroof for the heat rejection V-kool provides. I'd like to try 3M but I really don't know if I want to gamble with another RM2k

I install my Swift with
- Llumar 8mil side screen - Llumar 4mil rear screen - Vkool Elite front screen
for total RM1650. Vkool Elite front screen cost me RM700.
I installed the above films package at ENEOS 1 Utama.
My advice to those not yet install films on your car. I strongly recommend you all go for security films. Due to increase crime on breaking in car getting higher each year, for your own safety purpose & also preventing your car being stolen.

In an accident, a window broke into pieces will usually harm you more than an intact one.

If you really involve in car accident untill the door can't open. Thats mean the impact must be very strong. I am sure most of the windows already break. With security films the windows still intact & will not break into pieces that could harm you.

Located at old wing basement carpark. Once taken your ticket going down to basement turn right, go straight to the end you see ENEOS.

I noticed that some tinting film when applied onto the windscreen, it has a 'Blurry Effect'. It seems like there's a layer of uneven plastic sticked onto the windscreen and it makes driving unpleasureable.
My question is, does quality tinting films have such problems? Is it due to poor workmanship?
