QUOTE(ceo684 @ Apr 18 2007, 01:06 PM) There's 3 major types of tint; the cheapo type (200 bucks whole car one) is usually just coloured plastic, the 500-1000 one is the midrange one, which will last ~5yrs before deteriorating; and the last one the advanced/high end one which can last 10 yrs (usually the top product). http://www.tintcenter.com/articles/bt_types.htmlhttp://www.tintcenter.com/articles/bt_durability.htmlThanx for the info and the links bro. Appreciate it.

can we know what type of tint by looking at it?maybe the seller says it is the high end type but who knows, it might be the the cheap one priced at high end one? Added on April 19, 2007, 11:49 amlast time i was in my friend's car forgot what type of tint he used i realize the tint was kind of giving a little polarized effects like i was wearing glasses..felt dizzy and the heat rejection is poor This post has been edited by rhoma: Apr 19 2007, 11:51 AM

Sorry for screwing the atmosphere... Does anyone know any of tint brand which offer in cheap price?
Cant afford like those VKool..Im driving a sedan and thinking of budget less than RM500 for whole car tint.
Planning to get dark color and feature of "sun shine & heat rejection" I know there is alot "cheap-lak" in market and yet cheap...
Well I just wanted to ask some opinion and suggestion.

Can try ecotint, 550 for medium size local car. Try finding out the thread by amuroray. Dark colour no point lah, attract unwanted attention from solip and jpj.

hi guys... just wondering on the quality of RAYTECH tints... are they actually any good? been searching the forum but can't seem to get any updated opinions on raytech... there's one with 90% IRR... the brochure states RM1500, but my SA is giving it to me at RM1200... and a RM150 voucher... which brings it down to RM1050. I'm willing to spend money on good tinting... but is raytech really any worth it? does it really work? (budget: rm1.2k-rm1.4k) after lots of thinking... i'm not planning to get v-kool. doesn't sound worth it. might as well get other brands with better specs for the same price how's raytech vs ecotint vs v-kool vs aircool? are 3M tints very expensive?

lonewolf: yeah... that's true. might as well get better brands, right?
