My personal choice will be Llumar Security Film. biggrin.gif  biggrin.gif

Pricey but gives you protection from natural elements and criminals.

May i know how much u install it?
The IRR is how many percent?
I think of apply this on my new vios but its IRR is low although they offered me security film too.
N the IRR also not so high, 66% only, RM900++ for the whole package.

Does anyone can advise me on this? Thx.

Best to ask for feedback from family members, friends and try it out in their cars.
I'd rather stick with v-kool elite if I want max heat rejection while maintaining high VLT.

Previous car used that while the new one is using 3m.
V-kool is alot better but it blocks out the GPS signals as well, another point for consideration.
In my relative's car, it'd been on it for 7yrs now and looks good as new, didn't notice any fade, colour change nor peeling off problems.
I dunno what type of tint Estima comes with but they're pretty good too.

Thought of trying out eco-tint but I don't like the greenish looks of it. laugh.gif
Although I don't know much about pricing, for RM900++ to cover the whole car with 6X% of IRR ain't bad to me,
hopefully someone who knows more can give you an answer.
Whatever you choose, remember to take the warranty card just in case of any probs. icon_rolleyes.gif

Thanks for yr replying. My mum's car using Raytech and its heat rejection is ok,
after parking under hot sun, u'll feel cool by waiting for a short while only.

V-kool Elite is out-of-my-budget, and I'm using GPS as well, so I dun think i'll invest my $ on this.
Anyway I'm seeking for Ecotint or Huper Optic but I'm hardly to find their branches in KL,
can somebody tell me?

been to the setapak branch thr..

they have the safety + solar film...but the price is quite costly thou,

their tri shade SS 99 with VLT of 72% (more than 70%) with safety but the infrared rejection is around 60%....
and it cost RM1.8k for normal sedan car...which i think i get better deal at other place.

Yeah I have the CS90 Armor installed on my primary car. Pretty good heat rejection, plus a nice darkish colour (not too dark, nor clear) that fits my car. 7 years warranty too, plus a one time front windscreen tint replacement service if you ever break it. RM1.8k+.

Whenever I park my car under the sun light for a long time, it is always freaking hot when I try to enter my car back. Hot to the point that I can't even touch the steering, need to open all the door and cool down the car for at least 5 minutes before I can enter.

Would tinting the window be the way to go? I only care for heat reduction, don't care about darker shade at all.
